Kako nisam uocio u ovoj temi nikakve reakcije povodom novog albuma grupe Pearl Jam,moram javno upozoriti sve poklonike doticnog benda da se,slucajno,ne prevare i ne kupe ovaj,nazovi,album i tako rizikuju da sruse mit o najboljoj grupi svih vremena.Ja ga kupih na blef,a bolje da sam umesto toga kupio 'jaffa cakes'. Dok sam ga preslusavao srce mi se cepalo...a bili su cool tipovi.Izgleda da se njihov opus zaokruzio sa vanzemaljskim 'Ten'-om,fenomenalnim 'Vs.'-om i sa oko 40-ak unreleased pesama.Mislim da im ovakva degradacija uopste nije trebala.Ako su ispevali sve,bolje da odu casno u penziju.Zato,za sve vas koji niste slusali 'No Code',ucinite sebi uslugu i preskocite ga.Slusajte i secajte se PJ-a iz najboljih dana. Re: Pearl Jam Novi album nije loš kao album, ali je stil muzike totalno PoNilJangovan. Nema Dave-ovih rasturanja bubnjeva (lupa Jack Irons), dosta country-rocka, malo punka. Moji favoriti su Smile, Red Mosquito, Present Tense, I'm Open. Al' Ten je jedan u sto godina. E1 O:-)

Posto nema reakcija povodom novog albuma PEARL JAMa, osim par pateticnih koje bolje i da ne racunam, resih da i ja napisem koji red i realno predstavim situaciju za sve one koji su ostali zbunjeni nakon procitanih gore navedenih poruka. Prvo, ne kapiram coveka koji moze da ocekuje da jedna grupa nakon cetiri godine izbaci sasvim isti album sa pesmama u istom fazonu. Priznajem da TEN spada medju najbolje GRUNGE albume, ali taj pravac i Seatlle fazon je proslost. Zapravo poceo je da umire od trenutka kad je Kurt Cobain prosuo sebi mozak. Druga stvar je sto ljudi jos nose karirane kosulje i iscepane farmerke, to nema veze i to samo oslikava da su se ljudi napalili na ovaj pokret i takav nacin razmisljanja. Kada ukljucis (M)TV odmah ti postaje jasno da je danas nemoguce napisati pesmu poput ALIVE ili JEREMY ili PORCH ili bilo koje druge pesme sa TENa. Pesma je mnogo vise od par akorda koji se besmisleno vrte. Nju neko mora i da napise, a da bi je napisao mora u nju da unese svoja razmisljanja. Takodje TEN je PEARL JAMov debi album sto znaci da su pesme sa tog albuma nastajale godinama ranije pa su se vremenom spontano menjale,usavrsavale. Najveci dokaz sta vreme ucini od muzicara je primer zvani METALLICA. Od nekadasnjih heavy-metal simbola postali su pop-country-light-ne-znam-ni -ja bend sa istim takvim pesmicama. Medjutim ne mozes da kazes da je PEARL JAM namestio istu gresku sa NO CODEom kao METALLICA sa LOADom. Naprotiv ja mislim da su svi oni koji su pomno pratili pearl jam i ocekivali ovakav album. On je prakticno nastavak VITALOGYja s tim da je puno bolji od njega. Ovom porukom samo otvaram dalju raspravu o albumu NO CODE i porucujem svim ljubiteljima PEARL JAMa da ga nabave i pazljivo preslusaju. Bice odusevljeni apsolutno svim pesmama sa albuma.

++ A shta bi sa Vajtolodzi? ++ Kako ti se on chini? ++ Jel ovaj novi slichan kao gorepomenuti? ++ Ako jeste onda ql.... Pa,po mom skromnom misljenju,Vitalogy predstavlja jedan oblik blagog prelaza sa prva dva albuma na ovaj poslednji (uh,kakva mudrost :) Ono sto hocu da kazem je da je mozda 'gorepomenuti' nagovestio ovakav (tuzan) rasplet dogadjaja.Mislim,Vitalogy je potpuno korektno uradjen album,ali nije ni blizu prva dva.Ipak i kao takav,za poslednji,'No Code',predstavlja umetnicko delo.

Kako vidim da neki ljudi nisu shvatili moju dobronamernu poruku na ispravan nacin,moracu biti malo opsirniji u cilju razjasnjenja nekih stvari. ++ Prvo, ne kapiram coveka koji moze da ocekuje da jedna ++ grupa nakon cetiri godine izbaci sasvim isti album sa ++ pesmama u istom fazonu. Priznajem da TEN spada medju Ja nisam ni ocekivao da 'No Code' bude kopija TEN-a.Svaki album mora da ima neku svoju karakteristiku.Na primer,VS je album koji neki cak smatraju boljim od TEN-a (sto je mozda i tacno,ali ja ipak ne bih tako daleko isao),a verovatno ces se sloziti da on sa istim nema ama bas nikakve slicnosti,osim te da su ispod oba potpisi clanova grupe Pearl Jam. U krajnjem slucaju,da album bude dobar potrebno je da sadrzi odredjeni kvalitet,a ne odredjeni 'fazon'.Albom koji je u 'fazonu' moze da ima dobar komercijalni efekat (neki ce ovde odma da skoce :)) ali ne mora da bude kvalitetan.Problem sa 'No Code' albumom je u tome sto je Eddie napisao textove po ugledu na VS (znaci ne tako radikalne kao na prvom albumu,ali ipak sa jednom odredjenom jacinom i malo umerenijom tematikom),ali muzika jednostavno nije na nivou Pearl Jam-a.Neko je ovde vec spomenuo,a ja bih se i slozio sa tim,da je izgleda Neil Young i previse uticao na njih.Pogotovo sa MirrorBall-om.Medjutim,tu se po meni dogodila jedna smesna situacija,a to je da su na MirrorBall-u,Pearl Jam uneli dosta svog stila,dok su na 'No Code'-u neuspesno pokusali da imitiraju Young-a.Inace,ovakvim raspletom dogadjaja,Vitalogy je sebi znatno podigao ugled... Ja sam mislio da ne mogu gore,kad' ono medjutim. ++ fazonu. Priznajem da TEN spada medju najbolje GRUNGE ++ albume, ali taj pravac i Seatlle fazon je proslost. Da li to po tvojoj logici znaci da bi ljudi sada trebalo da prave DANCE jer je on u 'fazonu' !!?? Da se islo tom logikom,danas ti ne bi mogao razaznati ko je ko i sta predstavlja.Kupujuci,recimo,Sepulturu,morao bi pitati da li su mozda obradili Macarenu.Jedna stvar mora da ti bude jasna,a to je da rock,sam po sebi,danas ne postoji. Sve su to samo NEO-punk,hippy,reggae,brittish i sta je znam sve jos koji pokreti.Kada te za deset godina budu pitali o rock-u devedesetih,sta ces reci? Naravno,samo grunge.Jedina NOVINA.Pa,ako je i ona izumrla,zasto je ne vratiti.Zar ne zasluzuje? PJ je imao sansu da postane jedini pravi grunge band.Tu sansu su prokockali.Ipak,sve bi to bilo u redu da su uradili nesto drugo.Medjutim,oni sa ovim nisu uradili nista. ++ Zapravo poceo je da umire od trenutka kad je Kurt Cobain ++ prosuo sebi mozak Kurt Cobain nije postao maskota grunge-a sve dok se nije ubio.Tada su ga proglasili kraljem,a Nirvana je postala velika medijska atrakcija.Pearl Jam,Mudhoney,Soundgarden i ostali,su uvek bili underground i kao takvi nikada nisu imali medijsku paznju koju zasluzuju.Ono na sta ti mislis,a to je komercijalni grunge,se rodilo i umrlo sa Nirvanom.Naravno,ja ovim ne bih da umanjujem kvalitet Nirvane kao grupe.To je samo bio nesrecan splet okolnosti.Nervira me samo sto ljudi ceo grunge vezuju za to i samo to ime. ++ Kada ukljucis (M)TV odmah ti postaje jasno da je danas ++ nemoguce napisati pesmu poput ALIVE ili JEREMY ili PORCH ++ ili bilo koje druge pesme sa TENa. Nije nemoguce,vec nema ko da ih napise.PJ ocigledno vise nisu sposobni... ++ Pesma je mnogo vise od par akorda koji se besmisleno ++ vrte. E,ovde si spoznao sustinu 'No Code'-a. ++ razmisljanja. Takodje TEN je PEARL JAMov debi album sto ++ znaci da su pesme sa tog albuma nastajale godinama ranije ++ pa su se vremenom spontano menjale,usavrsavale. Ne.Sve pesme koje su (ne)spontano nastale ranije,su i ranije objavljene.Naime,pola sadasnjih ili ondasnjih grunge grupa,koje nesto znace,je nastalo iz grupe Green River.Da ne bih suvise davio od nje pa do Pearl Jam-a,predjen je dug put,na kome su se formirale jedna po jedna grupa.Poslednja od tih je i tema ove nase rasprave (uzgred oni su nastali iz Temple of the Dog-a,1991 godine) Dakle sve te 'spontano' nastale pesme su vec davno ranije potrosene.Medjutim,imali su drugu prednost,a to je iskustvo.Njega su izgleda 'potrosili' ... ++ Najveci dokaz sta vreme ucini od muzicara je primer zvani ++ METALLICA. Razlika izmedju svih ovih grupa i PJ-a je u tome sto su sve one dostigle maksimum u svojim oblastima muziciranja tako da nisu imale drugog izbora sem da se raspadnu ili zakorace u nesto novo.Sve su izabrale ovaj drugi put i nisu pogresile.Medjutim PJ nije ni blizu svog maksimuma sa svojih jedva pet godina postojanja i,dosada,tri izdata albuma.Ali sve to i nekako, i da su krenuli u nesto novo ... medjutim,naprotiv,oni su svoju muziku samo degradirali. Ako pogledas njihova unreleased izdanja,pa cak i neka albumska,covek se zapita da li ima nesto sto oni ne bi mogli da urade.Bilo je tu i rock balada i punk stvari i metala i hard core-a i sta sve jos ne.Prosto nisi mogao da izaberes u kom ti se 'odelu' vise svidjaju. Ovde je problem sto 'No Code' nema DEFINICIJU.Sta su hteli time da kazu.Nista.To je u stvari samo bled pokusaj kopije. ++ pomno pratili pearl jam i ocekivali ovakav album. Ne mogu da pricam u ime mase,ali ja sam od novog albuma ocekivao zvuk.Da ne gresim dusu,zvuk sam i dobio,ali u samo malo konfuznom i ne definisanom obliku.

Biraj oružje! ;) Slušaj dečko, ako neko voli da sluša Iron Maiden, DLM ili Love Hunters, on na to apsolutno ima pravo, jer zaboga, o ukusima ne treba, i u krajnjem slučaju ne vredi raspravljati. Ako ti ne voliš dotične grupe, ne moraš da ih pljuješ i da pričaš kako ne znaš šta je gore a da ih nisi čestito ni preslušao. :( Tebi se ne sviđa Iron Maiden, a meni se recimo PJ gadi od kako su izdali Vs. a o petljanciji sa Neil Youngom i da ne govorim, ali bi bilo apsolutno besmisleno od mene da ih pljujem i omalovažavam što ih ja lično ne volim jer zasigurno ima ljudi (ali kako mogu da primetim sve manje i manje) koji i dalje vole PJ!
