Moderatoru i Dejanru se najtoplije zahvaljujemo, a one koje dotična
igra apsolutno ne zanima unapred obaveštavamo da u ovoj temi kratkih
poruka biti neće:) Cdr se ima osećati zamoljenim da u ovoj temi
nemilosrdno briše sve što liči na šum a za prave sadržaje poruka ćemo
se sami pobrinuti.
Za početak bi lepo bilo da se jave ljudi koje zanima o čemu se radi,
s obzirom da su u planu dve nove partije, jedna za frikove a druga
potpuno otvorena za sve dobrovoljce. Postoji ASCII sa pravilima igre,
PCX mapa, ASCII mapa, a u fazi prekucavanja je Gamer`s Guide, koji će
se, zbog dužine, kačiti po poglavljima, a toplo ga preporučujem
početnicima u cilju ulaženja u finese ;)

Ova igra se igra širom sveta i na tabli i u PBEM (Play By E-Mail)
obliku. Oldtimer će ovih dana prebaciti i ovde interpretaciju pravila (za
igru na tabli) na srpskohrvatskom jeziku (original ne bismo mogli da okačimo
da ne bi povredili autorska prava (Diplomacy is a trademark of the Avalon

This document describes the Electronic Protocol House Rules. These rules
cover Diplomacy play via email with human and computer adjucation.
These HRs cover regular and variant games. In the case of variant games
these HRs may be modified by the rules of the variant and the alterations
will be found in the rules of the variant. GMs should announce such
differences at the time of the game creation.
If a game is not being played on a judge, a player should ignore any
references to the judge in these rules.
This document supplements Avalon Hill's Diplomacy rules (most recent
American edition.)
General rules:
1) Joining a game implies an intention to play the game through to the end.
Leaving a game without a good reason is considered very disrespectful. Don't
join unless you are willing to commit yourself to an entire game, which
may take several months.
2) Automatic allies or automatic enemies will not be allowed in the same game.
If you violate this rule you risk, at the very least, expulsion from the game.
3) Players may not communicate with each other directly (ie, through
a mechanism other than the judge) in games where the identity of other
players is concealed, or at all in games where communication is
barred. The potential for this arises if they guess at another
player's identity or if the player's identity is accidentally
revealed.
3a) Players in gunboat games may not make any claim, true or false,
as to their real identities.
4) Players are expected to treat each other with dignity and respect. Abusive
language or behavior is frowned on, unless clearly in character in a
roleplayed game.
5) Unless otherwise stated, observers should not offer opinions and
analysis of the game.
6) Players should submit moves by the deadline. It is suggested that players
submit a set of tentative orders as soon as possible and then modify them as
the turn progresses. A player who consistently submits moves after the
deadline risks being expelled from the game.
7) Players should not continue negotiations past the deadline. If they need
more time they should request a deadline extension. If you have already
submitted orders, you may continue to diplome after the deadline has
passed.
8) It is unacceptable behavior to deliberately submit moves late for any reason
(example, while awaiting reply from an ally).
9) Turns will never be replayed. Turns may be reprocessed to correct an
error, but no new orders will be allowed. Turns will only be reprocessed
if there was an error in calculating the results on the part of the judge
software. GMs may change this rule at their discretion without losing EP
status for the game.
10) If a player is unable to continue playing, the player should
notify the GM as soon as possible to allow the GM time to find a
replacement.
11) Computer opponents are not allowed in games without prior permission.
12) A valid registration form is required for all players. Lying on your
registration for is grounds for expulsion from the judge. The following
fields must be valid: Name, Site, Email, Level, Address. In non-judge
games, the GM will decide what information he requires.
13) A player is responsible for submitting their own orders. GMs are
generally willing to accept orders over the phone if necessary, but the
final responsibility lies with the player.
14) All games must be set NoNMR.
15) All games must be set "different-site", meaning that not more than
one player from the same site may be in the same game. "chaos" and
foreign language games are exempt from this rule.
16) All games must have a GM.
Player Replacement:
1) Players may not reenter a game as a different power under any
conditions.
GM rules:
1) GMs are to remain scrupulously impartial in all matters.
2) GMs should not change the parameters of the game after players
start signing up for the game unless the players unanimously vote to
do so. This includes changing the deadline calculation, victory
conditions, press flags, etc.
3) GMs may not play in their own game. Judge keepers may not play in
any game on their own judge. EP status will not be granted to games
that violate this rule.
Voting:.
1) All votes to change the nature of the game (deadline calculation,
et al) must be unanimous.
2) The GM is responsible for officially announcing a vote and recording the
outcome. He must announce the outcome of the vote but should not announce
the number of votes for each option or how anyone voted.
3) A vote is not closed until the next move has processed.
4) In all cases, if a player does not submit a vote, then that player
is assumed to have voted against the proposal, ie NVR=no.
5) GMs may be ejected by a unanimous vote of the players. The vote will be
run by the judge keeper. This is really a method of last resort and the
judge keeper will only allow this after all other methods have failed.
Draws and Concessions:
1) Draw votes will be managed by the judge where available. If the draw
mechanism is unavailable, the GM will run the vote. The draws will be
DIAS unless otherwise stated when the game was created or unless the
game was changed to non-DIAS by the players.
2) Voting on draws is anonymous. Draws may only include players that
have not been eliminated from the game. Draws may not give order of
finishes such as 2nd place, 3rd place, etc. Players are either
included in the draw or not.
3) The following people can vote in a draw: All players who had not
been eliminated by the end of the game year, i.e. have both no units
and no supply centers.
4) The GM reserves the right to terminate a game in a draw involving
all of the remaining powers if it is clear that the position on the
board has reached a stalemate. (Determined by no changes to province
ownership for the last three game-years.) The GM must announce their
decision to start the three game-year clock one season prior to doing
so. If a player objects to the termination and can convince the GM
that there is still play in the game then the game will continue
5) All players entitled to vote must vote unanimously for the draw
vote for it to pass.
6) All surviving powers may conceed a victory to a single power by unanimous
vote, subject to the same voting restrictions and methods as those for
draws. The DIAS flat does not apply in this case.
Unacceptable behavior:
1) Cheating:
Intentionally circumventing the house rules, the judge mechanism,
or the rules of the particular game can lead to the player being
blacklisted in the EP hobby.
The name of a player blacklisted will be distributed to the EPCC, all
judge keepers, and all GMs along with a statement advising them of the
player's past actions and a request to deny the player entry into any
EP games.
2) Cross Play:
Attempting to influence a player's behaviour in one game by offering
threats or concessions in another game is called "cross play". This is
strongly discouraged.
3) Press:
a) The following people can submit press in a game: Players currently in
the game plus players who were in the game but were eliminated,
observers, the GM, the manager, and the editor. (But if you resigned
or were kicked out, you have no such privileges.) No player or
observer can claim to be the GM, or judge keeper. Nor can the GM or
judge keeper pretend to be one of the others, or a player, if in fact
that is not the case.
b) You may forge correspondence from other players within the limits
of the press settings unless you are sending correspondence to the GM.
4) Deception and the GM
The GM will not participate in deceptions involving other players.
The GM will delay the game and ask for new orders from a player if the GM
suspects that a player's orders were faked by another player.
5) Violation of Privacy
Anyone violating the privacy of another player or GM may be ejected
from the game. This specifically refers to electronic mail, but
will be used in other situations if justified.
6) Bad Behavior
Players who are known to NMR, deceive the GM, or are simply known
to be abusive may not be allowed to play in this EP games. And players
who become abusive to the GM or other players during a game can be
ejected.
7) Sneaking into a Game
You can not enter a single game as multiple players, use an
alias without prior arrangement, or be related to another player.
All information provided in your registration form must be accurate
as mentioned above.
Disputes:
The following groups or individuals are responsible for resolving the
disputes in the specified areas. Disputes that cannot be resolved at
that level should be promoted to the next level up.

How to Handle Complaints
A problem in the game should be brought to the attention of the GM.
He will make a ruling and refer any technical problems to the
judge-keeper. If the GM can not be reached then the EPCC should be
contacted, or the Judge Keeper for purely technical problems. If a
player disagrees with the GM's ruling in response to a complaint he
should simultaneously address an appeal to the GM and the EPCC.
Generally, appeals should be broadcast to the entire EPCC
(epcc-l@nda.com). However, if the problem involves secret elements of
a game (eg: pending orders) then it should be send only to EPCC
members who are not in the game. If the game is gunboat, then your
identity is secret and you must take all procautions against mailing
your appeal to any member of the EPCC who might be in the game.
The player should send mail only to the judge keeper if he is a member
of the EPCC, or let the GM form a list of EPCC members not involved
in the game and send to everyone on that list. If that is not
possible, the player may send his appeal to the EPCC secretary.
The EPCC should also be contacted if the GM seems to have disappeared.
The EPCC should rule over the house rules even if they have been
modified. However, the EPCC has the right to refuse to hear an
appeal (no decision), in which case the Judge Keeper or GM has the
final word.
AH Rules That Have Been Replaced:
1) VII.3.b
When a fleet can move to two coasts and the coast is not specified,
the adjudicator will pick an arbitrary coast. Actually not totally
arbitrary, but the first one in its movement list.
2) IX.1
Do not specify owners of units in support and convoy orders. This
redundant specification would unnecessarily complicate the parser.
The movement results will indicate the alternate power on support
and convoy orders.
3)IX.7
Based on the second statement after XIV.5, IX.7 does not apply if
either or both of the dislodged or dislodging unit is convoyed.
4) XII
Armies intending to use a convoy must specify the convoy route
in their movement orders as in the examples:
A LON-ENG-BEL,
F ENG C A LON-BEL.
or A LON-ENG-MID-WES-TUN,
F ENG C A LON-TUN,
F MID C A LON-TUN,
F WES C A LON-TUN,
A NAF S A LON-TUN.
5) XII.4
Since convoy routes must be specified, there will never be any ambiguity.
6) XII.5
a) This rule when taken literally can have some unintended results.
For example:
England: F Iri-Mid, F Eng S F Iri-Mid
France: F Spa(nc) S F Mid, F Mid Convoy A Por-Bre, A Por-Mid-Bre
Italy: F Gulf of Lyon Convoy A Tus-Spa, A Tus-GoL-Spa
What happens in the Mid-Atlantic ocean? What about if the additional order:
Italy: A Mar S A Tus-Spa
is entered? With literal interpretation of the rules, the fleet
in Spain would be dislodged, but its support to the fleet in the
Mid-Atlantic Ocean (of an action in a body of water containing a
convoying fleet) would not be cut. This adjudicator makes five
passes to determine what support gets cut:
a) Normal non-convoyed movement cuts support.
b) Any armies being convoyed by fleets that would be dislodged
without further support cuts are flagged "maybe no convoy".
c) Any convoyed armies without the "maybe no convoy" status cut
support provided by units in their destination provinces.
d) Any armies being convoyed by fleets that still would be
dislodged are flagged "definitely no convoy".
e) Any armies still flagged "maybe no convoy" status cut support
of units in their destination provinces. The "maybe no convoy"
status is cleared.
Using this algorithm, Spain's support above would be cut in pass
three. The Mid-Atlantic Ocean's dislodgement would be detected
in pass four. Portugal would be given the "no convoy" status and
thus would have no effect on any unit in Brest in pass five.
7) XII.6
This rule is known to be vague and lead to certain paradoxes when a
unit is given the choice between a land route and a convoy. However,
this does not apply here since an army must specifically specify its
convoy route if it is to be convoyed. Note that convoy between
adjacent provinces are possible, and may be useful certain
circumstances.
8) XIII.2
The rule reads as follows: "BUILDING AND REMOVING UNITS
(ADJUSTMENTS). After the Fall moves have been played, and the
retreats (if any) made, each player's number of units MUST be
adjusted to equal the number of supply centers his Great Power
controls. If he has fewer centers than units, he MUST disband the
excess units only, by removing them from the board. The units
removed may be any of his units he choses. If he has more centers
than units, he MAY build units by placing them..." (Emphasis on MUST
and MAY is not in the original.)
This is vague. Is the rulebook saying that he MUST disband units and
MAY build units because he can always disband units but is not always
able to build units? If not, why is the rulebook saying that he MUST
adjust his units to be equal to the number of supply centers that he
controls?
Here is the replacement rule: You don't have to accept all possible
builds. Possible builds not being using must be specifically marked
using the WAIVE command or your orders will be marked as unfinished.
9) XIV.4
If a power is required to remove a unit and no valid order is
received, the least recently produced unit that is not at a supply
center will be disbanded. This is the first one listed on the
reports which will be the one most likely to be furthest away from
a home supply center. (However, in any case NMR is prohibited by above
rules, so this change should have no effect.)
10) COASTAL DESIGNATIONS FOR FLEET SUPPORT ORDERS
The judge requires that an order for a unit supporting a fleet movement
to a bi-coastal province specify the correct coast, otherwise the support
will be void.
Unusual Board Situations:
Certain extremely rare situations are not covered by the rules of
Diplomacy. (For example, Pandin's paradox discovered by Tony Pandin
in which a convoy causes its own disruption.) In such a situation,
the results of the Diplomacy Adjudicator will be accepted as final.
Other Notes:
1) DIPLOMACY RULES AND COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
Avalon Hill permits us to run Diplomacy games electronically with
the understanding that no copies of the rules will be distributed
electronically and that all Avalon Hill maps retain the Avalon
Hill copyright. If you violate this understanding, you put the
entire Internet hobby at risk.
2) CHANGE OF ADDRESS
The GM is not responsible for problems caused by you changing your
e-mail address without notifying the GM.
Extra eMail addresses can be added with the IAmAlso command.
Your return address can be changed with the SET ADDRESS command.
To remove an address, re-REGISTER.
3) HOUSE RULES
Changes to any of these rules will result in loss of EP status for the
game in question unless specifically exempted above.
The EPCC is the only body that can make official changes to these house
rules.

Zato što smo u grupama: Dip, Dip2, Diplomac, Dip!dip!,
Dip.Old, Zgubidan i Dip!Kill do sada napisali hiljade poruka i
megabajte teksta koji sasvim sigurno zaslužuje da bude sačuvan
jer tu ima zaista literarno vrednih i duhovitih poruka.
Zato što zainteresovanih posmatrača ima tako puno da
nismo fizički u stanju da zadovoljimo njihovo interesovanje
putem grupa.
Zato što ovo nije tema u kojoj ćemo diskutovati o igri
i završiti sa diskusijom. Mi ćemo svakako i diskutovati o igri,
ali ćemo je ovde i igrati (slati saopštenja za javnost Velikih
Sila, rezultate poteza, komentare događaja na evropskim mirištima ;)
itd.) i to više partija istovremeno. Ako misliš da je ovo samo
nešto prolazno i da će se brzo završiti, znaj da se ova igra igra
širom sveta već četiri decenije (prvo na tabli tj. face to face, a
zatim i putem klasične pošte, telefona i najzad u PBEM obliku) i da
partije traju mesecima.
Zato što je ovo prljava ;) i stoga veoma zanimljiva igra.
Nijedan dogovor postignut u pregovorima između Velikih Sila nikoga
ni na šta ne obavezuje.
Zato što cilj ove teme nije kačenje fajlova s igricama pri
čemu se krše autorska prava.
Nemam nameru da sporim legitimnost vašeg zahteva za temom,
ali molim i tebe i Omegu i ostale da se za temu borite van ove teme.
Ova igra zahteva velike intelektualne napore (kako matematičke
- za strategijski deo igre, tako i literarnu kreativnost - za pregovore)
i svaki šum tj. ono što nema veze s igrom/partijom taj napor u mnogome
povećava jer ometa koncentraciju.
Ako te ova igra interesuje, javi mi se kada budeš dolazio u
Beograd pa možda budeš imao sreće da tada organizujemo neku partiju
face to face da vidiš kako to izgleda (7 igrača, mapa se nalazi
na nekom stolu, a (tajni) pregovori se održavaju po drugim prostorijama
(npr. u kupatilu s puštenom vodom da drugi ne bi prisluškivali ;) ),
igra traje satima i pošteno oznojiš mozak i osušiš usta objašnjavajući
nekom kako si mu vekovni prijatelj, a onda gledaš njegov besni lik
kada mu svojim potezima daš do znanja da je Beč oduvek bio turski ;> ).
Ako sve ovo smatraš zaludnim, daj resign.

Pravila su jasna, biće okačena ovde, a pored poštovanja `kućnog reda`
koji je uobičajen na Internetu, ovde precizne odredbe za svaku
pojedinu partiju donosi GM iste, tj. vlasnik grupe u kojoj se igra.
Njegova reč je zadnja. Nepoštovanje odluka GM-a će i ovde dovesti do
stavljanja na crnu listu. Pre svega, ne javljajte se za učešće u igri
ako nemate volje da istu odigrate do kraja, ma kakav on bio po vas.

Ovo je sasvim nova partija i igraju ljudi koji su se dokazali
kao dosta dobri igrači tako da se nadamo jednoj klanici. Za
ostale koji bi želeli da počnu novu partiju neka se jave
old.timeru na mail i izraze svoje želje.

Haj svim GM-ovima i onima koji će to tek biti :)
Pošto meni predstoji težak ali uz to i sladak posao
masterisanja dip!kill ja sedoh malko i napisah jedan script
fajl za Telix koji malko olakšava posao. U krugovima ljudi koji
već igraju diplomacu znaju da je običaj GM-a da prvo na sezamu
ostavi "friške" poteze čim se uloguje a da posle lagano to
izmasteriše i javi se za neko vreme (obično 1-5 sati). Oni koji
koriste telix nemaju scroll bafer cut&paste i ostala njesra od
telmejta te imaju malo više posla, pa sam ja odlučio da napravim
mali script koji sve to rešava. Script je i zakačen uz poruku a
evo i izvoda iz njegovog komentara:

prevodu totalni pablik domejn tj. radi s njim što ti je volja.
Znači menjajte ga jer nije baš najotporniji na đubre i slične
stvari a uz malo truda pride možete to sve da automatizujete te
i ako niste kod kuće da program odradi posao za vas. Eto to bi
bio moj mali doprinos , čisto da se zna da nam tema nije džabe

nove ljude. Ako kasnije bude više takvih poruka dogovorićemo se šta se

Potezi će ići svakako, uputstva i razni tekstovi sa Interneta takođe.
Rejting sistem ćemo demokratski usvojiti ovih dana ;) pa će posle

Verujem da delim mišljenje većine da ovde nećemo nikakvu anarhiju,
Diplomatija je dovoljno komplikovana igra sama po sebi. Ako još počne
svako da kači svoja literarna (ne)dela ovde (ništa lično), nećemo moći
da pratimo šta se dešava. Dakle, poruke prenose GM-ovi, samo ako su
zanimljive ili bitne za tok partije.

Mislim da je slanje proglasa upravo ono što ovu temu čini
zanimljivom i potrebnom. Game Masteru ne treba još više otežavati posao,

i autorstvo poruke u Sezamovom zaglavlju.

otvoreno pismo, ultimatum...) koji ne zaslužuje da se nađe u conf.
U grupama treba pisati o organizacionim stvarima, prepucavati
se, slati sirove poteze, a u conf. treba slati zvanična dokumenta tj.
proglase i izveštaje (i to sa obaveznim zaglavljem 'Game:', 'From:',
'To:' (možda bi trebalo dodati i Dip vreme).
Podrazumeva se i dalje da rasprava s GMom partije nije
dozvoljena.

Bilo je ovde predloga da se upravo ta FAST GAME partija igra u temi,
a to, složićeš se, nikako nije bio razlog otvaranja teme.

Slažem se da GM ima dosta posla a i da je većina takvih poruka
dovoljno interesantna, ali predlažem da za početak to rade GM-ovi,
možda par desetina poruka, dok se ljudi ne naviknu da pišu zaglavlja
i da ne prenose sve i svašta. U grupama ima dosta šuma, a ovde treba
prenositi samo ono što je stvarno zanimljivo.
Jednostavno, bolje je da na vreme izbegnemo zbrku, nego da posle
ispravljamo krivu Drinu :)

Svakako bi trebalo :) A baš to GM može da izedituje dok se ljudi ne

Kako GM ima neke popuste dozvoljavam sebi da malo iskomentarišem
poteze:
1) Austro-Ugarska-Nije na vreme poslala poteza,ali nije
loše prošla. Zadržala je upad Italije u Trst. Predviđam
sumanut mail na relaciji Italija-Austrija-Turska-Rusija.
U svakom slučaju kao i obično gužva na Balkanu.
2) Italija-Nije joj uspeo napad na Austriju, ali je
flota u Jonskom moru izuzetno jaka-preti i Grčkoj i
Tunisu.
3) Turska- Povratak na Balkanu, flota na Bosforu,
ali armija u Armeniji pokazuje namere i prema Rusiji.
4) Nemačka-klasičan juriš na zapad... Danska je pala
a preti Belgiji i Holandiji.
5) Francuska-Dobra diplomatija i Francuska lako osvaja
Španiju i Portugal.
6) Engleska-žerčilovo otvaranje. Može da prebaci Armiju
u Norvešku sa bilo kojom flotom, a takođe da uđe i u
Belgiju ili Norvešku.
7) Rusija- Rus očigledno zaleteo u pomoć svojoj Slovenskoj
braći na Balkanu.
Neki savezi se još uvek ne vide.Na Balkanu je klanica samo se još
ne zna koje od Velikih Sila meso a ko kasapin. Zapadne sile bez
velike
gužve osvajaju slobodne centre , ali šta će biti kada ih podele ?

To vam je to, svi potezi su dobili plusiće tj. uspeli, povlačenja
nema, sledeći potez u sredu do 18.00.
Rano je za neke komentare, mada upadaju u oči italijansko zanimljivo
pregrupisavanje, nemački *Drang nach Osten*, francusko šunjanje prema
Belgiji, kao i tursko-ruski dogovor o demilitarizaciji Crnog mora ;)
No to je sve samo prvi utisak, videćemo šta će se zbiti u sledećem
potezu.

The Youngstown variant of diplomacy follows the same rules as standard
diplomacy with an expanded map. Three new powers are added: China,
India and Japan. The Indian player must use the letter "N" rather than
"I" when signing on since "I" is reserved for Italy.
The following is from a rules file of Jon Monsarrat:
A Bit of History...
The Youngstown game is the most popular of the many Diplomacy
variants. The reason, of course, is the minor modification and
expansion of the standard map to include the Major Powers of China,
India, and Japan. My best assumption for the origin of the variant is
that there is or was a large Diplomacy club in the Youngstown, Ohio
region. Apparently the variant was devised there and was quickly
dispersed through tournaments and word-of-mouth. I first saw the game
played at the Studio of Bridge and Games in Schenectady, New York.
Special Rules for the Youngstown variant of Diplomacy:
Impassable areas
No unit may enter Switzerland or the Himalayas. The body of water in
the center of the map is the Caspian Sea and is intentionally left
unlabelled and cannot be entered. No unit may enter the zone marked
"Impassable" north of Russia. Fleets may move along the coast of Omsk
as they did have icebreakers back then. Some subvariants disallow
this. If specifically disallowed by mutual consent of the players or
by decree of the game's master you should not order fleets to Omsk.
The adjudicator will permit such a move, however.
Off-board areas
Surrounding the edge of the map are "off-board" boxes. Various maps
differ in how they are identified. The adjudicator refers to the box
in the North Atlantic as "Offboard A", the Mid-Atlantic as "Offboard
B", etc. counterclockwise to "Offboard L" in the North Pacific. The
off-board boxes allow a circular map to be represented on a flat sheet
of paper. There are several interpretations on how movement between
the off-board areas is intended to work. This adjudicator interprets
them based mainly on Jon Monsarrat's description:
1) Any unit in a land or sea area that contains an off-board box may
move into the box as though moving to a normal sea area or
province. Any unit in an off-board box may move into the sea area
or province which contains the off-board box.
Example: English F NAt -> ObA
Japan F ObK -> SPO
Off-board box C is contained within the South Atlantic. This is
indicated by an arrow since there is not enough room in that space
for the box.
2) A unit in an off-board box may move to an adjacent off-board box.
Example: French F ObB -> ObC
India F ObH -> ObG
3) A unit in an off-board box may move to the off-board box within the
sea area or province whose name appears in the unit's off-board box.
Example: French F ObB -> ObK
India F ObH -> ObC
If you have a copy of Ken Lowe's map, the spaces adjacent to an
off-board box are those listed within the box. It is recommended
that you have a copy of this map to play the game via the adjudicator.
4) Off-board boxes are treated as sea areas or provinces and hence,
only one unit may be present in an off-board box.
5) Support orders and convoy orders apply to off-board boxes.

6) A fleet may move to the African off-board boxes and is on the coast
of the African continent. Fleets cannot move to the inland off-board
boxes in Sudan and the Sahara (E and F).
The Suez
The Suez is a water territory contained within Egypt. It is adjacent
to the Eastern Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the north and east coasts
of Egypt. It is not adjacent to either coast of Jordan. Jordan's
north coast is adjacent to Egypt's north coast and Jordan's west coast
is adjacent to Egypt's east coast. Other units can move between Egypt
and Jordan whether or not there is a fleet in the Suez and fleets can
move into the Suez whether or not there is a unit present in Egypt.
Fleets in the Suez can convoy armies.
Victory Conditions
There are a total of 72 supply centers on the board. A majority of
pieces therefore would be 37 centers for victory by a single country.
A draw may also be declared by consent of all players or no exchange of
supply centers for three Fall seasons.

Kao što se vidi a poznato je i iz istorije zapadne sile su bez
ijednog sukoba pokupili sve slobodne centre, dok su na istoku
u opštoj gužvi da iskoriste zakasnelu mobilizaciju Austrije vešinom
ostali na polaznim polažajima...
Šta Še se dogoditi na zapadu sad kada više nema slobodnih centara
nisam siguran, ali sigurno da se sprema rat između Engelske i Rusije
a
ko pridobije Nemačku ima veliku prednost...
Evo i mojih komentara za svaku zemlju posebno:
1)AustroUgarska - Kasnila je sa potezom pa je još i dobro prošla.
Srbija nije okupirana pa ima sa čime da trguje.
2) Turska - Uzela samo Bugarsku i deluje pomalo zaglavljeno u Aziji
jer je Italija uzela Grčku.
3) Italijan se između Grčke i Tunisa odlučio za Grčku... Pitanje je
da li je to dobro. Na Balkanu se ne zna ni ko pije ni ko plaša a za
Tun
mora da se bori sa Francuskom.
4) Rusija-Promašila je Guesing Game u jesen za još jedan centar i
imaće
problema sa Engleskom
5) Engleska - Standarno ali se bojim da dopustila da Nemačka suviše
ojača.
6) Nemačka- 6 Armija - Najača sila.
7) Francuska - Po meni stoji najbolje. Brzo je ušla u Mediteran.Može
da
udari gde poželi...

Evo dela jedne moje privatne poruke upućene Oldtimeru, nešto
kao savet Game Masterima... Miša (Oldtimer) se složio :).
[][] Šta misliš o formatu slanja poteza u temu? Potezi sa tumačenjem,
[][] isto to + mapa, nešto prikačeno uz poruku... Ja sam za slanje samo
[][] poteza sa tumačenjem, naravno, kad su definitivno prožvakani u grupi.
[][] Nije najpreglednije, ali ako počnemo i mape da kačimo, pola Sezama
[][] će dati resign na temu.

[] Mislim da GM treba prvo da pošalje sirove poteze u grupu, pa
[] onda obrađene poteze u grupu, a kada to odleži nekoliko sati (npr.
[] preko noći) onda treba kačiti u conf (u conf ne sme biti grešaka GMa)
[] i to u što potpunijem obliku (mislim da je oblik koji sam koristio
[] u Dip.Old najbolji, dakle: citat prethodnog stanja za svaku zemlju,
[] potezi s tumačenjima, novo stanje te zemlje (položaj svih jedinica,
[] vlasništvo centara, prava/obaveze (povlačenja/buildovi/skidanja)),

[] i igračima i posmatračima i GMu (jer je veoma teško pratiti više
[] partija odjednom, a posao GMa, kao što znaš, nije ni malo lak), a
[] silni quoteovi ne povećavaju bitno dužinu PADa jer se zbog čestog
[] ponavljanja istih reči takve poruke jako dobro ZIPuju.

Nisam skinuo mapa.asc ali ako je to ono što i ti koristiš u
izveštajima, Sale je napravio, a onda smo je Oltimer i ja doterivali.
Ta mapa izgleda odlično jer se koriste znaci koji u ASCIIju
(od 1 do 127) ne postoje i zaista je odmor za oči u odnosu na ASCII
mapu koju koriste na Internetu:

To communicate with the Diplomacy Adjudicator you should send it a mail
message in the following format:
SIGNON pxxxx password
commands
Where 'p' is the identifier of the power you have been assigned and
'xxxx' is the name of the game you are participating in. The power
identifier is usually the first letter of the power unless there are
conflicts in which case it might be the second letter. For example in
the Youngstown variant, India's identifier is "N" since Italy uses "I".
To enter a game that is forming, use:
SIGNON ? password To enter the next available game
or SIGNON ?xxxx password [variant] Specifying the name of the game you want
or CREATE ?xxxx password [variant] To create a new game and sign on
or SIGNON %xxxx password To sign on as an alternate standby
or OBSERVE xxxx password To just get the reports for a game
your password will be set to the password you specify. Note that if you
use the third form above, other players wishing to enter that game will
have to use the second form. Before you can sign on to a game, you must
register with the adjudicator. See the information about the REGISTER
command near the end of this text.
Immediately after the initial signon you should specify your preference
of what powers you would like to be assigned with the command:
SET PREFERENCE list
where the list is a sequence of the power identifier letters. To give
a set of powers equal weighting, enclose them in parenthesis or square
brackets. Thus: "set preference f[ergti]a" would indicate that you
really want France and really don't want Austria, but you don't care
about which of the others you are assigned if you can't have France.
To take over a power that has become abandoned, you merely sign on with:
SIGNON pxxxx password [variant]
where 'p' is the identifier of the power you are attempting to take over.
Other commands that you can put after the SIGNON command are:

map: The province abbreviations and connections (cryptic).
map.xxx: The same for nonstandard variant xxx.
master: Information for people who are games masters/moderators.
flist: A list of all files available with sizes.
The files marked with % above are "must" reading before you can really
get started (the percent is a marker refering you to this footnote, don't
include it in the GET command). In addition to the standard variant,
supported nonstandard variants are:
Youngstown: A fairly common variant including Asia.
Loeb9: Danny Loeb's 9 player variant including Spain and Norway.
Pure: Each power starts with one army on a map of seven provinces.
Chaos: A 34 player variant in which each player gets one center.
Britain: England starts with six armies.
1898: Each player starts with only one of his home centers.
Crowded: Eleven players occupy all 35 centers at game start.
Machiavelli: Uses money to support units and/or bribe others' units.
Fleet_Rome: Italy starts with a fleet rather than an army in Rome.
Gunboat: The identities of the other players are kept secret.
Be sure to read the info file for these variants before signing on. The
Machiavelli variant is more complex than standard Diplomacy and has its
own rules file "rules.machiavelli" which you must read before playing as
well. There are PostScript maps available for some of the variants:
map.ps: The standard variant and many others.
youngstown.ps: Youngstown variant.
loeb9.ps: Loeb9 variant.
machiavelli.ps Machiavelli variant.
These files are fairly large. They are also available via anonymous ftp
to ftp.u.washington.edu under the names 'public/misc/xxxx.ps'. It is
preferred that you get them via anonymous ftp if you can.
To sign on to a nonstandard variant before it starts or to take over a
power in a nonstandard variant you must specify the variant name on the
signon command. This is to ensure that you know what you're getting
yourself into. If anyone would like to see the judge support other
variants, please send your suggestions to the judge-request address as
listed below.
When involved in a game of Diplomacy it is best if all the players in the
game are unique. Puppet powers tend to spoil the game for the other
players. Some games are designated as "all players from different
sites" or "all players from the same site" to keep the balance from
becoming too badly tipped if contact between two players is too easy or
too hard. It is important for the judge to know who you are in order
to determine if you are right for a particular game. Please fill out
the following registration form by replacing the example text after the
colons with proper information and return it to the judge. Name, phone
and site are required. You should also list at least one email address
that won't change.

You can query the database of people by sending a "whois user" request
to the judge or you can get the entire database with "get whois". You
may update this information at any time by sending in a new registration
form. Note that you can use the information returned by the whois
command as a template by throwing a REGISTER line in front, an END line
on the end, changing the other information and sending it back to the
judge. Please try to spell your site name the same way other players
may have spelled it. Feel free to add additional information by making
up your own keywords, but keep it under half a page.
The judge recognizes you by the return address in electronic mail that
you send in. If you use multiple accounts, you can tell the judge that
another return address should be considered the same person by sending
an "IamAlso address" command from the new account, where "address" is
one of the electronic mail addresses that you listed on your Email line
when you last registered.
Signing onto another player's power without his permission is a serious
offense. Punishable by being staked out in the hot sun with red ants
placed in your ears and nostrils. Although Diplomacy is based on treachery
and lying, this falls under the category of "spoofing the games master"
which is not allowed. If another player accidently sends you his password,
you are required by honor to report this to the player and not take
advantage of it. By signing onto the other player's power, the judge
will send you a copy of his submitted orders, but the other player will
get a copy of this message and an alarm message will also be sent to
the judge's administrator.

Komentari GM-a su uvek dobrodosli, ali pozicije, pa jos ako su
pracene mapom, su savrseno nepotrebne. Iz samog poteza vidi se
bez problema gde je jedinica prvobitno stajala.
Pretpostavljam da mape vole oni koji imaju teskoca da sebi u
glavi vizuelno predstave situaciju. To se moze i na druge nacine,
ne mora ASCII mapom. Ja sam to ovako resio: posto nemam original
tablu, nacrtao sam otprilike olovkom mapu na listu A4. Jedinice
sam predstavio Lego-kockicama. Na vise papira moze da se prati
vise partija istovremeno. Jako je prakticno. A ako kockice padnu
sa stola, samo se pogleda izvestaj GM-a, i bez ikakve mape lako
se rekonstruise pozicija.

Ukoliko još jednom budem video da šalješ ovakve poruke bez
propisnog zaglavlja, pobrinuću se da više ne odigraš ni jednu partiju! ;(
Isto važi i za ostale. To što GM neće (i nesme) da vas bije, da vam
oduzima centre za kaznu ili da vas izbaci iz igre ne znači da je
dozvoljeno praviti sranja. Vrlo lako ćemo se dogovoriti da saboterima
igre ne dozvolimo da igraju u sledećim partijama.

Argument o punjenju PADa ne stoji (jer se takve stvari
fantastično kompresuju), a kada se igra više partija istovremeno
ili kada pokušavaš da vidiš šta se dešavalo pre x godina, mnogo
je lakše. Ponavljanjem naizgled nepotrebnih podataka se znatno
smanjuje mogućnost greške i vreme potrebno za tumačenje pozicije
i odigravanje (citiraš položaj svojih jedinica i samo im dodaš
naredbe :) ).
Kad-tad se dogodi neka greška (u kucanju ili tumačenju)
i onda svi ti nepotrebni podaci postaju veoma bitni.

OK, možda je tebi nepotrebno, ali dopusti da je mnogima

se ne priznaje ni jedna partija u kojoj nema i čoveka koji je
moderator partije, izveštaji poteza se šalju sa položajem jedinica,
a i mapa se može dobiti po želji (skoro sve radi mašina).

OK, svako ima neki svoj metod (ja npr. volim raznobojnim
flomasterima da ucrtam položaj jedinica na fotokopiji mape (nestalo
mi je fotokopija pa to više ne radim)), ali se vremenom navikneš na
'Saletovu' mapu... :)
Nego... što ređaš kockice na mapi ako nemaš problema pri
vizuelizaciji? ;> Ja mogu da igram bez bilo kakve mape (imam ih
u glavi), ali je sa mapom ipak mnogo lakše i lepše.

Ovo je spisak partija koje se trenutno igraju na Morrolanu.
Molio bih da se zapazi partija 'jurrasic' (partija je stigla do
jeseni 1936. godine i još traje). Ono Dedication: 50 bi trebalo da
znači da su u igru mogli da uđu samo igrači koji imaju preko 50
poena na rejting listi.
Poeni se dobijaju po formuli
( BrojIgrača - BrojPobednika ) / BrojPobednika
što znači da se za pobedu jednog u standardnoj igri dobija 6
poena, a npr. za pobedu trojice (ako se trojica jedinih preživelih
dogovore da dele pobedu) u standardnoj varijanti dobija po 1.33, a
u npr. Youngstown varijanti (ukupno 10 igrača) (10-3)/3=2.33 (tako
da nije ni malo jednostavno sakupiti 50 poena).
Ova poruka je ipak mnogo duža nego što bi trebalo i ubuduće
ću ovakve stvari slati kao fajl uz poruku. Ovaj put šaljem ovako da
bi se svi uverili da ovo nije tek tamo neka igra, nego nešto stvarno
veliko :). Nisam brojao, ali mi se čini da partija ima oko 150.

Pod jedan, već sam vas opomenuo da hoću zaglavlja i u grupi. Pod dva,
rekli smo da poruke u vezi Softwara u konf šaljem ja. Što mi ljutite
aliena :)) Ovo je bila izuzetna situacija, ni ja se nisam uzdržao od
komentara, ali citirano *pritiskanje* već spada u diplomatiju iz Softwara
i poruka je morala da ima zaglavlje.
Kad vidim da ih uredno i tačno pišete u grupi pustiću vas da i sami odmah
kačite javne proglase i u konferenciju. Dok to zvanično ne objavim, pišete
samo ovde a ja kačim tamo.
Kažnjavanje nije moj stil, ali samo da napomenem da postoji savršen
metod, group ignore na nedelju dana, kažnjenom se malo pogorša
pozicija i posle bude itekako poslušan i uredan ;)

kako će one očuvati savez koji se izgleda već ljulja ( A

Veruj mi da niko ne koristi to što je GM da bi sprovodio neke svoje
firerske sklonosti. Molbe bi upalile u 50% slučajeva a to nije
dovoljno. Ja GM-ujem dve partije istovremeno i tako mnogo lakše pratim
ko mi i zašto piše. Drugo, bez ovih zaglavlja tema u konferenciji gubi
svaki smisao. Tekstove o dipu ćemo ispucati za mesec dana i onda
ostaje praćenje partija. Kao GM poruke sa pozicijama vezujem jednu na
drugu i mogu se fino vezano pratiti. Javne poruke iz grupe moraju
imati to zaglavlje da bi kasnije find Softwar moglo da pročita sve što
se odnosi na partiju koju igramo. Osim toga tamo se trenutno prenose
dve partije u kojima čak učestvuju isti useri - bez zaglavlja to je
čist haos.
Glede kažnjavanja, prve dve partije na Sezamu su propale zato što su
se Game Masteri previše demokratski ponašali. Kad tad to pređe u svađu
između igrača i partija puca. Poučen tim iskustvom pridružujem se
ljudima koji su rešeni da ne dozvole da se isto desi nekoj partiji
koju igraju ili GM-uju. Ako to traži kazne, izbacivanje, crne liste,
služićemo se i takvim sredstvima ali će s nama igrati samo ljudi koji
ovu igru dovoljno ozbiljno shvataju.
Najbolja analogija je, kao i uvek, šah. Da li bi na jednom šahovskom
turniru odbio da koristiš propisanu notaciju, da poštuješ tempo igre
ili neku sudijsku odluku? Ponašajte se onako kako bi se tamo ponašali
i ova igra će nam svima pružiti zadovoljstvo. Dovoljno je teška da je
ne treba komplikovati odbijanjem da se poštuju konvencije koje se neko
potrudio da smisli da bi olakšao igru i praćenje iste.

Italije drugim Vladarima u partiji Softwar u kojoj se zna kakva
su pravila i ko je Game Master.
Naravno, to je stvar slobodne procene, ali tu procenu nije
tako teško napraviti. Bilo koja poruka koja za cilj ima da izvrši
određeni diplomatski uticaj na tok određene partije - mora imati
zaglavlje. Na GMu je da odluči da li takve poruke idu u conf.
BTW: Molio bih GMove da pri prenošenju saopštenja za javnost iz
grupa, pri navođenju imena Velikih Sila, navedu i ko ih igra.

Press.
There are various types of press in a game of Diplomacy. White press
refers to messages sent to other players which indicates who it is
from. Grey press is sent out anonymously and black press refers to
messages that are sent from one person but forged to appear as though
they came from another person. The adjudicator provides the mechanism
to set a game as allowing either or both of white or grey press. The
press messages can be sent to individual players or can be broadcast
to all players, depending upon the parameters set for the game. Black
press is really the same as grey press with another player's signiture
in the message, so no distinction is made by the adjudicator, however,
press sent to individual people can be faked to appear as a broadcast
message to all people or to an alternate set of people if the particular
game allows such a thing.
The types of press allowed in a particular game are shown by the list
command. The keywords are:
None:
No press at all is allowed, except press to the Master only.
White:
Only white press is allowed in this game.
Grey:
Only grey press is allowed in this game (however, press to the
Master will always be sent as white press).
White/Grey:
Both white and grey press are allowed, by default press will be
white (however, press to the Master will always be sent as white
press).
Grey/White:
Both white and grey press are allowed, by default press will be
grey (however, press to the Master will always be sent as white press).

Observer any:
Observers and alternates can post press with the same restrictions
as regular players. This is the default and does not show up on
list output.
Observer white:
Observers and alternates cannot post grey press. In a game that
only allows grey press from players, press from observers will show
up as white press.
Observer none:
Observers and alternates cannot post press at all, except press to the
Master only.

No Partial:
Only broadcast messages to all players can be sent, press to
individual players is disallowed, except press to the Master only.
This option is only useful in Gunboat variants where the identities of
the other players are unknown.
No Fake Broadcast:
Messages sent to individuals cannot appear as broadcast messages
or vice versa, nor can messages sent to one group of individuals
appear as though it was sent to an alternate group.
Partial may be Faked
Messages sent to individuals can appear as broadcast messages or
can appear as though they were sent to an alternate group.
Partial Fakes Broadcast by default
Messages sent to individuals will appear as broadcast messages to
all players unless otherwise specified.
Partial Fakes Broadcast
All messages whether broadcast or to individuals will appear as
though they were a broadcast message to all players.
Note: If fake press is allowed in a game, press to the Master will NOT be
faked, and you will get scolded if you try.
The "set" command can be used to establish which of these options is
allowed. In moderated games only the master can use the set press
command. By default games are "White, No Fake Broadcasts" for non-
gunboat games or "White, No Partial" for gunboat games. For example:
set grey, partial fakes broadcast
To send messages to other players you can use the "broadcast" or "press"
commands which are almost synonymous:
broadcast [options] -or- press options
If no options are specified *and the broadcast command was used* the
message will be sent to all players.
[In other words, using the command "press" without any options will result
in no message being sent. This is to prevent accidental broadcasts, which
can result in your secret attack plans being sent to the entire game.]
The message can be terminated in one of four ways: the commands "signoff",
"endpress", or "endbroadcast" appearing alone on a line, or by the end of
the mail input. Note that "endpress" and "endbroadcast" are interchange-
able (that is, a "press" command can be terminated by "endbroadcast" and
vice versa); also that no space can appear after "end" in either case.
If "signoff", "endpress", or "endbroadcast" appear at the beginning of a
line with other text, they are *not* considered to be commands, and the
message is *not* terminated.
If the message is terminated by "signoff", then all other text in the mail
input is ignored. If the message is terminated by "endpress" or "endbroad-
cast", then the next line is treated as a normal command line, thus allowing
normal commands to be mixed with press messages in any order, as well as
allowing for multiple press messages in a single mail input.
The optional options are:
white -or- unanonymous -or- unanonymously
The message is sent out with your power and return address
specified. This is only necessary if white and grey press
are both allowed and grey is the default.
grey -or- anonymous -or- anonymously
The message is sent out with no indication as to the originator.
This is only necessary if white and grey press are both allowed
and white is the default.
to list -or- +list
The message will be sent just to the list of powers specified.
The list consists of the single character identifier for the
powers concatenated as a single word. Thus "press to FRG"
would send the message to France, Russia and Germany in a
standard variant game. In most variants the first letter of
the power is usually the character (cf: India in the Youngstown
variant is N rather than I since the latter is used to represent
Italy). The special characters %OM are interpreted as Alternate,
Observer and Master respectively in all variants.
to all but list -or- -list
As above except the message is sent to the complement of the
list specified. Note that since all press that can be read by
Observers is archived in the game's history file, a message sent
'press to all but r' (for example) will be available to Russia by
means of the History command. Use 'press to all but ro%' to be
sure that the message isn't archived.
[no]fake [broadcast]
The message is faked (or not) as a broadcast message to all
players.
fake [partial] to [all but] list -or- fake [+/-]list
The message is faked as going to the set of people specified
even though it may be a broadcast message or be a message sent
to an alternate set of people.
Note that "press fake to FRG" will be interpreted as a broadcast message
to everyone that is faked as going to France, Russia and Germany rather
than a message going to France, Russia and Germany that is faked as a
broadcast. If the latter was intended the keyword "fake" can be placed
at the end as in "press to FRG fake" or the keyword "broadcast" must be
specified as in "press fake broadcast to FRG".
As an example in a grey press game allowing fake broadcasts, Italy might
start off the game by posting the following press message:
press to all but G fake broadcast

that read "Broadcast message in game xxxx:". [Remember, however, that if
Germany thinks to issue a 'history' command, he can see this in the history
archive. If this is undesirable, the command here should read 'press to
all but GO% fake broadcast'.] Then in the same (or a separate) message to
the adjudicator (since there can now be more than one press message per mail
message) Italy could issue:

Russia would get the message with a header of "Message to Russia in xxxx:".
Of course this trick wouldn't work if the game was White press since Italy's
name would be in the header. If it was White/Grey Italy would have to
throw in the "grey" keyword to get the effect, but even then (or if the
game was Grey/White) it wouldn't quite be the same since if Germany
really meant to be so obnoxious why wouldn't he just send the messages
out as white press?
Press to the Master only is always allowed, no matter what the press settings
are, so that requests for deadline extensions, or any other message needing
the Master's attention, can be sent without having to resort to direct eMail
outside of the game. This can be very useful if a player and the Game Master
are on nodes that cannot communicate directly, although both can communicate
with the Judge. Likewise, the Master can always issue press commands, to
facilitate communicating with the players (to announce that he's going to be
unavailable for a while, to respond to a player's message to him, or to ask
a player a question).
There are some commands that cause Diplomacy Notices to be sent out to
all the players (eg: changing your return address in a non-gunboat game).
If one of these commands has been processed and a partial, faked partial
or grey press message is attempted, the adjudicator will send out the
notice(s) as separate messages, to all players, and the partial, faked,
or grey press will be sent as designated.

O kakvim pravima uopšte govoriš? Valjda si igrajući ovu igru
shvatio da se prava ne daju ili dobijaju, nego uzimaju (ako imaš
moć da ostvariš ono što želiš). Nemam nameru da ulazim u političke
i filozofske rasprave o demokratičnosti i sl. (bar ne ovde... ;> ).
Mislim da sam već dovoljan broj puta u grupama čiji si
član rekao da u ovoj igri _nema_ demokratije. Ova igra ima jasna,
strogo definisana pravila, a ono što nije definisano pravilima je
stvar volje Game Mastera i njegov autoritet po tom pitanju igrači
ne smeju dovoditi u pitanje.
I sam si svedok problema i prekida partija koji su nastajali
zbog nedostatka čvrste ruke i diktature. Znaš i sam da je neophodno
disciplinovati igrače da bi igra tekla normalno i nemoj sada ti koji
si iskusan igrač da sabotiraš ;).

Misliš da blefiram?! ;( Misliš da ne mogu da sprečim sabotere
da igraju u budućim partijama? Recimo da sam jedini do sada uspešno
odradio posao Game Mastera do kraja i sada želim da pomognem drugima
koji su se prihvatili tog posla (postoji neka solidarnost među
GMovima :) ).
Recimo da želim da ova tema ne postane đubrište i skladište
šuma. Recimo da smo se nas par fanatika (najviše Miša (Oldtimer) i ja,
nešto manje Steva (on je imao druge zadatke ;) ) i Boshko) često
konsultovali oko toga kako sve ovo da organizujemo...
Određene mere represije moraju postojati da 'nesportski'
pojedinci (saboteri) ne bi kvarili igru ostalima koji fer, sportski
i 'po propisu' hoće da uživaju u igri. Kažnjavanje igrača u partiji
često može imati kontraefekte i da još više pokvari igru, a da se
kažnjeni pri tome ne oseti kažnjenim. žesto je bolji način kažnjavanja
- zabrana igranja PBEM Diplomatije na određeni rok ili doživotno ;>.
Kako bi se to izvelo? Lepo...
Ako se nas nekoliko fanatika dogovorimo da nećemo da ga primimo
u partije u kojima smo GMovi i da ćemo ignorisati nove partije u kojima
igra neko od sabotera i da ćemo biti veoooma ljuti na onoga ko kao GM
primi kažnjenog u svoju partiju, ... taj neće igrati!
[] ps. poruka na koju tako kulturno repliciraš se nije strogo
[] odnosila ni na jednu partiju, a iznad svega nema veze sa tim što
[] game majstor igra i majstoriše u više partija, pa zato i ne mora
[] da ima heder (s kojim se ja u suštini slažem).
Nisi je dobro pročitao. Pročitaj ponovo poruku i ceo kontekst
i videćeš da je to 'diplomatska' poruka. Popizdeo sam što sam morao
da se naprežem i gubim vreme da provalim o kojoj partiji i kojoj
zemlji se radi (a odnosi se na konkretnu partiju).

slučajno. Zbog toga se izvinjavam.
Drugo, mogao bi malo da smiriš loptu. Uopšte ne vidim kakav si ti to faktor
koji bi meni mogao da ukine igranje Diplomatije u životu. Da podsetim
prisutne, Diplomatija jeste ozbiljna igra, ali je ipak igra.

Ovo je već ozbiljno. Pročitaj ponovo ono gde pomenuh šah, koji je
takođe samo igra, ali neka pravila ponašanja svi poštuju. Igranje Dipa
u životu niko ne može da ti ukine, ali igranje u ovom društvu ovde, uz
poštovanje konvencija koje ovde važe, može. Naravno, mislim da za to
stvarno nema razloga, nije teško uklopiti se i uživati u Dipu :)
BTW, zašto se svi vređate i mislite da vam neko narušava integritet
ličnosti čim dobijete opomenu da ste propustili nešto u pisanju poruka
ovde? Na suštinu tih opomena ne vidim razlog za zameranje, a ako se
nekom ne sviđa ton poruke koja se na njega odnosi, uvek postoji
Civilizacija.licni stav ili mail.

Danas, na svečanoj konferenciji za štampu ataman doskih Kozaka,
Taras Buljba, je pročitao celokupno saopštenje koje je objavila
komanda, na čelu sa "moćnim" Fuhrerom. žin je bio propraćen
burnim smehom (bilo je dosta intervencija dežurne ekipe hitne
pomoći, jer se veći broj novinara tokom čitanja valjao po podu
držeći obe ruke na stomaku). Iz bolnice saznajemo da se svi
novinari uspešno oporavljaju od posledica Smehotresnog nemačkog
saopštenja. Ispoljene sumnje jednog dela oficira da je ovo
saopštenje imalo za cilj ubistvo nekog od generala ili
poznatih ličnosti sa Dona (poznato je kako su učestale smrti
usled preteranog smeha tokom gledanja raznih komedija, kao što
su 'Sednica Skupštine Srbije' i sl.).

Nova partija!
Gunboat, NoPress, Standard game.
U prevodu: igraće se anonimno tj. do kraja partije niko (sem mene)
neće znati ko igra koju zemlju i nikakvi pregovori (tajni, anonimni, fake,
javni...) između zemalja neće biti mogući. Naravno, to mnogo menja samu
prirodu igre (jer se gubi onaj 'diplomatski' deo), ali Diplomacy je i po
strateškom delu veoma jaka i teška igra. Ako ste ikada igrali preferans,
znate da je i bez dogovaranja moguće ostvariti koordinaciju u cilju
uništavanja trećeg. Ova 'Pref varijanta' će vam omogućiti da se u igri
koncentrišete na strategiju i taktiku, a da pri tome utrošite mnogo manje
vremena jer nema prepiske.
Tempo: jedan pokret nedeljno tj. jedna godina = dve sedmice.
čelje: nema potrebe za istim jer zemlje igračima delim po
randomu, a zamenicima na osnovu moje procene (osim Vitezu.Koji koji
će dobiti Italiju jer je mnogo voli O;))) ).
Početak: čim mi se javi 14 ljudi (7 igrača i 7 zamena).
Grupa: neće biti iste da ne bi bila ugrožena anonimnost.
Uslovi:
- ako bilo koji igrač na bilo koji način ugrozi svoju ili tuđu
anonimnost, biće _brutalno_ kažnjen.
- ako bilo ko od igrača ili posmatrača pošalje _javno_ poruku koja
se odnosi na ovu partiju, biće _brrrutalno_ kažnjen (jer se tako ugrožava
anonimnost).
- ako mi bilo ko od igrača ili posmatrača, pošalje na mail poruku
bez zaglavlja, poruku odmah brišem i ignorišem (ako mu se to ponovi, biće
kažnjen) (sugestije sa zaglavljem su dobrodošle).
- dok vam ne podelim zemlje, jedino obavezno polje zaglavlja je:
'Game: Mrak', ali bi bilo lepo da dodate i 'From: igrac', 'To: GM',
'Time: 1900' (BTW: što se mene tiče, umesto reči 'time' u zaglavljima se
može koristiti 'move', a možda se neko seti i neke prikladnije reči).
Način igre:
Putem maila ću obavestiti igrače i zamene koje su zemlje dobili.
Rokove ću objaviti javno i biće fiksni. Ukoliko igrač ne pošalje poteze
do isteka roka, uzimaju se u obzir potezi koje je poslao zamenik. Ni
igrač ni zamenik neće znati ko ih menja/koga menjaju. Ovo znači da za
svaki potez očekujem da mi naređenja pošalju i igrač i zamenik i da
se tako drastično smanji verovatnoća da dođe do Civil Disorder-a tj.
holdova. Molio bih one koji su početnici u igri da mi to naglase pri
prijavljivanju da bi bili stavljeni kao zamenici (ovo je veoma korisno
za učenje igre jer će početnik moći da upoređuje svoja naređenja sa
potezima iskusnijeg igrača). Podrazumeva se da oni koji smatraju da
su dovoljno jaki stratezi da mogu da igraju i ne žele da budu zamene,
treba to da naglase. Ova partija će trajati duuugo (jer će nastati opšta
klanica, rat svih protiv svih...) i vremenom će (ako bude potrebno)
zamenici postajati igrači-Vladari i dobijati svoje zamenike. Ja za
sebe zadržavam pravo da dajem i oduzimam komandu nad zemljama. Ni
igrači, ni zamenici, ni posmatrači nemaju pravo da kontaktiraju
među sobom u vezi ove partije (da se ne bi ugrozila anonimnost) tj.
svi dogovori oko toga ko igra, ko zamenjuje i sl. idu preko mog maila.
Igrači, zamenici i posmatrači mogu na mail da mi šalju sugestije
za komentare koje ću slati bar jednom godišnje.
Rekoh već da partija kreće kada mi se javi 14 ljudi (u stvari:
nekoliko dana nakon toga), ali to ne znači da tada treba da prestanete
da mi se javljate jer će tokom igre biti potrebne i leteće izmene pa
neće smetati da postoji i druga zamena.
Ukoliko igrač ili zamenik ne pošalju naređenja, neće biti
kažnjeni, ali ako to rade redovno - biće im oduzeta funkcija ;>.
Podrazumeva se da očekujem od igrača ili zamenika da jave unapred
kada neće biti u mogućnosti da šalju naređenja da bih ja obavestio
onog drugog da malo jače obrati pažnju i obavezno pošalje komande.

Naravno da ne treba zaglavlje. Mislim da si shvatio kada
treba, a kada ne treba...

Jeste. I njegova greška i Oldtimerova poruka i kasniji .Bracin
komentar su sporni, ali ipak u okvirima pragova tolerancije, a tvoja
poruka je probila taj prag...
[] Ja sam odgovorio zato što se to direktno tiče mene. Zaboravio
[] sam zaglavlje, sasvim slučajno. Zbog toga se izvinjavam.
Izvinjenje se prihvata. Džebajga, desilo se, ali nemoj to
više da ti se ponovi. Nemoj slučajno sada ostali da pomisle da
imaju pravo na po jednu sabotažu (sledeći će biti odmah kažnjen).
Mislim da je svima na osnovu ovog primera jasno da se određenih
kodeksa svi moramo držati da bismo upšte igrali i tako dobili
mogućnost da divljamo, kreativno i destruktivno delujemo _na_tabli_.

Rules.machiavelli*
Machiavelli is a board game by Avalon Hill which is quite similar to
Diplomacy, but quite a bit more complicated. The game is now out of
production so unless you've already got one it is not likely that you'll
find a copy of it. This description of the game should be enough to
teach you the rules if you're familiar with the rules to Diplomacy. You
will need a map, a PostScript version of which is available via the
adjudicator with the "get machiavelli.ps" command. The time frame of
Machiavelli is Renaissance Italy from 1385 to 1529.

Ne petljaj mene. Ništa se mi nismo konsultovali za bilo kakvu
organizaciju. Šta sam imao ja sam organizovao, pozoveš 428978 i to ti
je to.
Mogao bi malo da oladiš :) Skroz se slažem sa v.k. Ako neko i sjebe
konvenciju, pa šta, živ je čovek. Više ćeš šuma i svađa napraviti
svojim arogantnim porukama.
