Nedeljom od 9:30 - 13:00 na berzi u SKC-u (ulaz 7 din.) imas mnogo veci izbor i po povoljnim cenama. Pored popularnih "Bugara" mogu se naci povoljno brojni originali. Medjutim bas u to vreme imam pripreme za fax pa necu moci narednih 2 meseca da idem - neka neko pogleda i kaze mi ako ima nesto od THE GUN CLUB, POP GROUP i THE SISTERS OF MERCY (EP i SP izdanja) na plocama... Inace, oni sto prodaju ploce ispred SKC-a nisu normalni. Jedan je cenio 80 dinara UNKNOWN PLEASURE od JOY DIVISON, a na berzi sam ga kupio za 30. Isto je sa drugim plocama - ne dajte da vas dere bagra, idite na berzu, tamo mozete i da se menjate. Da mi je znati, onaj sto ima najvise ploca ispred SKC-a, onaj crni cupavi (ima super ploce), ja se sa njim menjam vec 3 godine. Znaci, redovno bacam pogled na ono sto ima, i uvek isto, cene paprene, gledam nalepio na nekada moje ploce THE RESIDENTS cenu od 70-80 dinara, BAUHAUS 100 din., i to mu tako stoji godinu dana (i ne samo to nego citava gomila) a ne pada mu na pamet da spusti cenu.

Na ulici su prekjuče svi (dobro, skoro svi) valjali Bugarske CeDeje za 20 din i kasete za 15. Na jednom štandu pri dnu bili su čak i diskovi 10-15 din. Doduše, izbor tu nije bio baš neki. A nisu ni svi diskovi na rasprodaji - recimo onaj Violent Femmes best of je i dalje 40. :( ------- Današnji update: Sve je manje više isto, nema više samo onih od 10 din. Btw. stigao Boatman's Call... mrak. Depresija u prahu. Čuvati dalje od dece i nesrećno zaljubljenih.

Dragi moji ljubitelji muzike, Nikada nisam zeleo da se eksponiram u konferencijama na sezamu , ali kada sam procitao neke stvari... Pa zar űljudi jos neko na ovome svetu slusa Metallic-u,Riblju corbu-u i neke takve bendove.Ne zelim ovom prilikom nikoga da uvredim, vec samo da pitam slusa li neko ovde pop-alternativu (novi americki rock...)i grupe Cracker,Giant Sand,Thin White Rope,Violent Fammes,Dinosaour JR. i druge, ili neke manje komercijalne pop bendove,trip-hop,accid jazz. Ovom, prilikom bih zeleo da pozdravim Milicu i da joj kazem da se potpuno slazem sa njenom ocenom koncerta Eve Braun. PS.Da li je neko cuo novi Morphin i "bugarash" Suzanne Vega"The very best of" PPS.Svima kojima trebaju neki diskovi ovakve muzike neka mi se jave (imam pozamasnu kolekciju)

Pretpostavljam da si slusao "Your Funeral My Trial" - e, to je mrak... Inace, preporucio bih ti Cave-ov stari bend THE BIRTHDAY PARTY... Nick je toliko komercijalizovao i promenio svoju muziku da se coveku digne kosa na glavi!!! A nekada je zaista bio izvrstan. Zadnji dobar album mu je HENRY'S DREAM (1992), a LET LOVE IN(1994) je pokazao da se nesto sa njim de- sava. Upropastila ga ona kucka od bivse zene, Brazilka Vivienne Carniero - poceo je njoj tada da pise pesme, kada ga je ostavila...

Sisters Of Mercy A post-punk rock outfit whose flirtations with gothic imagery would dog the public and media perception of them throughout an eclectic career. They formed in Leeds, Yorkshire, England in 1980, when Leeds and Oxford University drop-out Andrew Eldritch (b. Andrew Taylor, 15 May 1959, East Anglia, England; vocals) teamed up with Gary Marx (guitar) and a drum machine. After releasing The Damage Done (on which Eldritch plays drums and guitar) on their own Merciful Release label, the band expanded to include Ben Gunn (guitar) and Craig Adams (bass) for supports with Clash, Psychedelic Furs and the Birthday Party. A cult reputation in the North of England was augmented by excellent press, and further enhanced by the release of Alice. A magnificent gothic dance saga, together with the subsequent Temple Of Love, it hallmarked the band's early musical character. Inbetween these two landmark 45s Gunn left to be replaced by Wayne Hussey (ex- Pauline Murray, Dead Or Alive). WEA picked up the distribution for Merciful Release as the band's reputation continued to grow throughout 1983 and 1984. However, despite the release of their debut album, the following year brought a creative watershed. Continuing rivalries between Marx and Eldritch forced the former to depart. This was only a stop-gap treaty with the band announcing a final split in April 1985 after a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The rest of the year witnessed extraordinary legal wrangles between Eldritch on one hand and Adams and Hussey on the other, each claiming use of the name Sisters Of Mercy. Eldritch went as far as releasing a record under the title Sisterhood simply to prevent Adams and Hussey from adopting this halfway-house title. The duo eventually settled on the Mission as their new home, while Eldritch moved to Berlin, West Germany. Still operating under the Sisters Of Mercy title, Eldritch recruited Patricia Morrison (b. 14 January 1962, ex- Gun Club) for hit singles This Corrosion and Dominion, and the album FLOODLAND. A two year spell of inactivity was broken in 1990 with More, showcasing another new line-up; Tony James (ex- Generation X, Sigue Sigue Sputnik; bass), Tim Bricheno (b. 6 July 1963, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England; guitar_ex-All About Eve) and Andreas Bruhn (guitar). The VISION THING indulged Eldritch's penchant for deep rooted, esoteric metaphor, which occasionally makes his lyrics futile and impenetrable. 1991 saw a loss-making, aborted tour with Public Enemy, though this has done little to erase the confidence of the self-confessed `world's greatest lyricist'.

Pa ne bih se bas slozio da je "Boatman`s call" i njegovov najgori album.Pre bih to rekao za predhodni "Murder ballads".Na poslednjem je samo pod uticajem raskida sa PJH izneo malo vise emocija.Ne moze covek celog veka da bude toliko mracan.Samo pametan covek menja misljenje.To je isto kao sto u sada napadaju mog inace takodje omiljenog lika Davida Bowie zato sto je na novom albumu promenio stil.Prvo su mu zamerali sto je u kreativnoj krizi,a sada kada je ucinio nesto krajnje kreativno i btw sjajno,sada mu meraju na tome.Koliko lji toliko cudi.Ne moze se bas svima udoljiti iozda treba kao Ramones-i posle 20 godina otici sa scene da se ne bi dalje upatkavali i umirali na sceni To takodje podrzavam,ali je to veoma diskutabilno.Jer je situacija kod Nick Cave-a drugacija i ja sam gotovo siguran da on i dalje ima sta da pruzi i siguran sam da ce napraviti jos mnogo sjajnih ako ne albuma onda bar pesama.

Pre svega, Cave nikada nije bio sa PJ Harvey. Ako si cuo da kuka za "nekom", onda je to Vivienne Carniero, njegova supruga sa kojom ima sina Luke-a (rodj. 1990) i koji sada pise pesme na portugalskom. Sudsko pravo celokupno za dete nije dobio, nego sin izvesno vreme provodi kod njega u Londonu. Murder Ballads je takodje sranje od albuma, ali mi ti daj svoje misljenje kada oslusas prvih 5-6 Caveovih albuma (obavezno Your Funeral...) i njegove radove sa bendom The BIrthday Party, zatim sa nemackim bendom Die Haut (bubnjar Tomas Wydler je odatle) i njegovi U.S.S. projekti zvani Shotgun Wedding, u kome je pored stare postave The Birthday Party, ucestvovala i luda amerikanka, genijana Lydia Lunch. Eto, tako...

Ovaj, And The Ass Saw The Angel je odavno procitana knjiga, citao sam je odmah posle The King Ink na kojoj imam originalni potpis, napisan pre nekoliko godina. To sto radis na B92 ne mora da znaci da je tvoj muzicki ukus kvalitetan, ali ga ipak postujem, jer je Cave POJAM! Necu da se svadjam, posto vidim da slusamo potpuno razlicite faze Cave-ovog stvaralastva, ali ako si slusao The Birthday Party, shvatices Cave-a i na drugi nacin. Sto se tice informacije da je bio sa PJ Harvey, to nisam cuo jer me njegov trenutni opus i zivot zaista ne zanima. Ja znam ko je bio Cave, a danas su iza toga ostali samo dobri tekstovi. Ipak, za mene je Cave trenutna najveca ziva muzicka licnost uz Andrew Eldritch-a. Molio bih te da se ne raspravljas samnom oko undergrounda jer je to moj fah, ali UNDERGROUND a ne srceparajuci popic tipa Into Your Arms. "Sometimes At night I feel the end it is at hand My pistol running crazy in my hand..." Ponesto ne moze biti prevazidjeno, a to su STARI Cave, Leonard Cohen, Joy Division (Ian Curtis (1955-1980)) i The Sisters Of Mercy...naravno, ne smem da zaboravim ni Nico, a kad sam vec kod nje, ni The Velvet Underground...

Na> slusa li neko ovde pop-alternativu (novi americki rock...)i grupe Na> Cracker,Giant Na> Sand,Thin White Rope,Violent Fammes,Dinosaour JR. i druge, ili neke Grupe koje si naveo, intezivno sam slušao u periodu, 91-96, ali, sa pojavom jungle-a, deep house-a, drum'n'bass-a, Dinosaur JR. i ostali, su trenutno na odmoru :) što ne znači, da ih više ne slušam. Te muzike imam dosta, negde oko 200 kaseta (sve su albumi), pa ponekad provrtim i vratim se malo u prošlost :) Na> manje komercijalne pop bendove,trip-hop,accid jazz. Acid jazz mi je omiljen pravac, jeste da je nešto u poslednje vreme utihnuo, ali mi to ništa ne smeta da ga i dalje slušam, bitna je muzika :) A što se trip-hopa tiče, pored Tricky-a, dobri su DJ Shadow i DJ Krush. Na> PS.Da li je neko cuo novi Morphin i "bugarash" Suzanne Vega"The very Na> best of" Morphine sam čuo, i žao mi je što su sve dalje od, po meni njihove najbolje ploče, "Cure for pain". Čak ih je i Žikica Simić (Tajanstveni voz), negativno ocenio.

E pa da.Koristite priliku.I nemojte da se zaje*te kao ja i da platite kasetu 20 din. Nestao mi je bio disk Beck (Odelay)pa sam po svaku cenu morao da kupim ponvo (ili disk ili kasetu).Na zalost samo jedan stand je imao kasetu i kostala je 20 DIN :(( A ja budala kupio.

Da li je neko imao prilike da slusa novi (za sada, na svu srecu jedini) album grupe HOLY BARBARIAN, ciji je pevac vec kultni lik IAN ASTBURY, ex-pevac grupa THE SOUTHERN DEATH CULT, THE DEATH CULT i najpoznatije, THE CULT. Ne mogu da verujem da se neko spustio na toliko niske grane, zaista je tragicno, a povrh svega toga izjavio je da ne ceni nista od onog sto je radio sa BILLY DUFFY-jem u bendu THE CULT. Ocigledno su se posvadjali, a mene razocarali. :~(

Alien Sex Fiend Essentially an alias for the eccentric Nick Wade, Alien Sex Fiend emerged as part of the early '80s gothic punk movement from the UK, centred around London's Batcave venue. Wade previously served time with obscure acts like the Earwigs and Mr. And Mrs. Demeanour before releasing two singles as Demon Preacher. This was shortened to the Demons for a third single, but like its predecessors it vanished without a trace. After various short-lived projects, Wade eventually stumbled upon his long-term guise, Alien Sex Fiend in 1982, aided by David James (guitar), partner Christine Wade (synthesizer) and Johnny Ha Ha Freshwater (drums). On the strength of a nine-track demo tape, the band had played the Batcave at the end of the year. Live tracks were added to the tape and released as the cassette-only release THE LEWD, THE MAD, THE UGLY AND OLD NIK, before signing with Cherry Red Records subsidiary Anagram. Wade, whose stage image with ghoulish thick white pancake make-up, revealed his strongest influence, Alice Cooper in Ignore The Machine (1983). WHO'S BEEN SLEEPING IN MY BRAIN, was followed by Lips Can't Go and in 1984 by R.I.P./'New Christian Music', Dead And Buried and E.S.T. (Trip To The Moon) to coincide with ACID BATH. Such was the album's reception in Japan that the group embarked on a tour there. LIQUID HEAD IN TOKYO celebrated the event, but was the last output for Johnny Ha Ha. As a three-piece, the band came up with I'm Doin Time In A Maximum Security Twilight Home' (1985), accompanied by MAXIMUM SECURITY. IT_THE ALBUM, in time for a tour supporting Alice Cooper. A cover of Red Crayola's late '60s classic, Hurricane Fighter Plane, surfaced in early 1987, followed by The Impossible Mission. A retrospective, ALL OUR YESTERDAYS, coincided with Yaxi Highriser's departure. Under the guise of the Dynamic Duo, Wade then issued Where Are Batman And Robin? (on the Riddler label!). Bun Ho was the next Alien Sex Fiend single, continuing a more open-minded musical policy. ANOTHER PLANET confirmed this, while Haunted House saw the adoption of out-and-out dance techniques. After a tour (with Rat Fink Junior and Doc Milton) was captured on the double album TOO MUCH ACID?, the band returned with Now I'm Being Zombified in September 1990. That same month, Alien Sex Fiend released the experimental CURSE and bounced back three years later with THE ALTERED STATES OF AMERICA.
