desqview.1 spantic,
Zanimljivo je da je Desqview/X 2.0 veće neko vreme prisutan a nigde nije bilo nekih komentara. Da li ga je neko uopšte testirao?
desqview.2 bulaja,
**** new file **** R:\IBMPC\SYSTEM\*.* ---------------------- dvup263 zip 107351 DESQview v2.63: update sa verzije 2.62 This patchfile implements fixes to DV version 2.62. This patch will work ONLY on DV version 2.62. The date on the DV.EXE file (in your DV directory) should be 12/01/93. If the date on this file is earlier or later than 12/01/93, you do not need this patch. The following changes have been made in DESQview 2.63: 1) Several changes have been made to DVIPX.DVR to better support logging in to a NetWare server from inside a DESQview window. It is now much easier to use EMSNETX in a DESQview window, thus reducing the overhead for the network shell. A harmless "Unexpected Error 0FFFF" message is now suppressed. When certain NetWare utilities (such as MAP and LOGIN) are used inside a DESQview window, they change only the window's environment rather than the master environment. See Quarterdeck Technical Note #194, Logging in to NetWare Networks from Multiple Windows (LOGIN.TEC) for more information on how to run the Netware shell inside a DESQview window. This file is available from CompuServe (!GO QUARTERDECK); the Quarterdeck BBS at (310) 314-3227; and from Quarterdeck's Q/FAX service -- from the handset of your fax machine, call (310) 314-2314. 2) DESQview 2.63 works around a bug in the Microsoft version 9.0 mouse drivers that causes hangs when using a port mouse. This version also adds support for problems that unhook their mouse interrupt handler while in a foreground window, and allows programs to switch between DESQview pointer object use and Microsoft mouse driver use in a window. 3) DESQview no longer considers ^ScrollLock to be a form of ^Break. 4) When used with a DESQview Startup Script with time delays, WordPerfect now recognizes the F11 and F12 keys, rather than presuming an old keyboard is attached. 5) All DESQview hotkeys now time out after about 4/10ths of a second. This makes it easier to change your mind and avoid invoking a DESQview menu by holding down the key for a moment longer. 6) DESQview now supports Adaptec 174x disk controllers in their Enhanced Mode, such that the /LD parameter is no longer needed to avoid 15-second delays when accessing the disk. 7) DESQview's behaviour has been modified to work around a bug in LapLink Pro's NetBIOS support, and another bug in Remote Access BBS Version 2.00 and 2.01. This latter bug is expected to be fixed in later versions of Remote Access. 8) Critical error handling has been modified to add extra support for multitasking while playing audio CDs, and to suppress the "Please allocate more system memory for this window" message, which occasionally appeared before some critical error messages. 9) Mark Phone Number is now back to work in DESQview 2.63, after taking a brief vacation for version 2.62. 10) A problem with the "Initial Video Mode" field in the Change a Program Menu has been fixed. 11) After a timeout on writing to LPT device, an error message is posted. Additionally, a new command-line switch has been added to DESQview. /SuppressFormFeed:x (or /SFF:x, where x can be either Y or N; no part of the switch is case-sensitive) allows the user to prevent unwanted Form Feeds on printer device time-outs. 12) Windows' LPT1.DOS printer specification is now supported. This allows the user to multitask while printing out of Microsoft Windows. 13) A minor change allows Manifest's Adapter / Ports screen to be displayed in two different windows without waiting for a timeout, regardless of the status of printer contention. 14) DESQview's Learn feature correctly recognizes {ALT--}. The Convert a Script program has been corrected to support this key combination, and also recognizes Text to Script conversions of {Keypad x}, where x is one of the following: / * - +. 15) INSTLAC (which is the program that invokes the Change a Program Menu) has been fixed so that shortening the name of a program no longer corrupts the DESQVIEW.DVO file. This could cause hangs or corruption of the DESQview Open Window menu. 16) XMS 3 calls are now supported under DESQview.
