Uskoro u bioskopima kraj vas!
FATALNI VIKEND (Dirty weekend)
Prljavi Hari se vratio, ali ovog puta...
Ima: female shell!
Nema: holivudski šablon!
Izuzetan film Majkla Vinera (Death Wish). Premijera 14.04 u

PS. Najopasniji stos je bio kad on grdi svoju devojku, a ona kaze

ona brzo "izvini, doktore", i onda on, zadovoljan, produzi.

Title:
Psycho (1960)
Summary:
Phoenix officeworker Marion Crane is fed up with the way life has treated
her. She has to meet her lover Sam in lunch breaks and they cannot get
married because Sam has to give most of his money away in alimony. One
Friday Marion is trusted to bank $40,000 by her employer. Seeing the
opportunity to take the money and start a new life, Marion leaves town and
heads towards Sam's California store. Tired after the long drive and caught
in a storm, she gets off the main highway and pulls into The Bates Motel.
The motel is managed by a quiet young man called Norman who seems to be
dominated by his mother.

Trivia:
- DIRCAMEO(Alfred Hitchcock): about 4 minutes in wearing a cowboy hat outside
Janet Leigh's office.
- Doris Day was considered for the role of Marion Crane, but turned it down,
saying she would be uncomfortable doing the opening bedroom scene in front of
the camera and crew.
- American newcomer Joan Fontaine was treated with disdain by the rest of the
British cast. Laurence Olivier was particularly harsh, saying to Alfred
Hitchcock at one point, ``Fontaine's horrible, ole boy!''.
- The film only cost $800,000 to make yet has earned more than $40 million.
Hitchcock used the crew from his TV series to save time and money. In
1962 exchanged the rights to the film and his TV-series for a huge block
of MCA's stock (he became their third largest stockholder).
- Robert Bloch's original novel was inspired by the notorious serial killer
Ed Gein, who was also one of the inspirations for the character of Hannibal
Lector (_The Silence of the Lambs_/_Manhunter_).
- Hitchcock bought the rights to the novel anonymously from Robert Bloch for
just $9,000. He then bought up as many copies of the novel as he could to
keep the ending a secret.
- The shower scene has over 90 splices in it, and did not involve Anthony
Perkins at all.
- During the shooting of the shower scene, Hitchcock arranged for the water to
suddenly go ice-cold when the attack started.
- Hitchcock originally envisioned the shower sequence as completely silent,
but Bernard Herrmann went ahead and scored it anyway and Hitch immediately
changed his mind.
- The blood in the shower scene is actually chocolate sauce.
- The closeup of Leigh's dead body and the pullback scene is a still frame.
Hitchcock's wife saw the original version and told her husband ``You can see
her breathing'', so he changed it.
- The shot of Janet Leigh flushing the toilet is believed to be the first
such shot in American cinema history.
- Hitchcock tested the ``fear factor'' of mother's corpse by placing it in
Janet Leigh's dressing room and listening to how loud she screamed when
she discovered it.
- The skull superimposed over Norman's face at the film's conclusion is that
of ``Mother.''
- There is a rumor that the MPAA refused to pass this film because they
claimed to be able to see Janet Leigh's nipple during the shower scene.
Hitchcock didn't edit it out, but merely sent it back, (correctly, it seems)
assuming that they either wouldn't bother to watch it, or miss it the second
time.
- Hitchcock insisted that audiences should only be allowed to see the film
from the start. This was unheard of back then as people were used to just
coming in at any point during a movie. The reason for this was that the
film was advertised as starring Janet Leigh, but her character is killed in
the first half of the film.
- After the film's release Hitchcock received an angry letter from the
father of a girl who refused to have a bath after seeing _Diabolique_ and now
refused to shower after seeing Psycho. Hitch sent a note back simply
saying ``Send her to the dry cleaners''.
- The last shot of Norman Bates' face has a still frame of a human skull
inserted in it.
Goofs:
-While Marion Crane ( Janet Leigh ) prepares to leave town with the
stolen money and packs up her stuff the money is lying on the bed. The
camera thenzooms/moves in on the money. At the end of the zoom/movement
the shadow of the camera(man) is cast on her bed (lower right).
Quotes:
Norman Bates: I think I must have one of those faces you can't help believing.
Norman Bates: She just goes a little mad sometimes. We all go a little mad
sometimes. Haven't you?
Norman Bates: I'm not capable of being fooled! Not even by a woman.
Norman Bates: Uh-uh, Mother-m-mother, uh, what is the phrase? She isn't quite
herself today.
Norman Bates: She might have fooled me, but she didn't fool my mother.
Norman Bates: Well, a son is a poor substitute for a lover.
Norman Bates: She's as harmless as one of those stuffed birds.
Norman Bates: A boy's best friend is his mother.

Title:
Player, The (1992)
Summary:
A studio script screener gets on the bad side of a writer by not accepting
his script. The writer is sending him threatening postcards. The
screener tries to identify the writer in order to pay him off so he'll be
left alone, and then in a case of mistaken identity gone awry, he
accidentally gives the writer solid ammunition for blackmail. This plot
is written on a backdrop of sleazy Hollywood deals and several subplots
involving the politics of the industry.

- The opening tracking shot (6.5 minutes) includes people talking about famous
long tracking shots in old movies. The scene was rehearsed for a day, shot
for half a day. Fifteen takes were done, five were printed, and the third
one was used in the film. The writers pitching stories in that shot are
relating real stories.

Untouchables, The (1987)
Summary:
Federal agent Elliot Ness assembles a personal team of mob
fighters to bring Chicago crime boss Al Capone to justice
using unconventional means during the mob wars of the 1920s.
This fictionalized account of the arrest of Al Capone
is heavy on style and gunfire. The end shootout combines
a baby carriage and stairs with a nod to Eisenstein's
_The Battleship Potemkin_.

Bond :))

Trivia:
- Begins with a shot of a peak in the jungle which is reminiscent of the
Paramount Pictures logo. See also (_Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom_,
and _Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade_)
- Tom Selleck originally cast as Indiana Jones.
- Frank Marshall (the film's producer) played the airline pilot. [?????]
- Jock's airplane at the beginning has the registration number ``OB-3PO'',
referring to Obi-wan and C-3PO from _Star Wars_.
- Script originally included a long fight between a swordsman and Indiana with
his whip. Actor Harrison Ford was suffering diarrhea at the time, and asked
``Why don't I just shoot him?'', so they filmed this instead.
- The truck that didn't have Marion in it was flipped over by firing a section
of a telephone pole through the floorboards.
- The hieroglyphics in the map room include engravings of R2-D2 and C-3PO (from
_Star Wars_, etc), however they do not appear on film.
- DIRTRADE(Steven Spielberg): [music]
Goofs:
-In the scene where Indy and Marion emerge from their entombment
in the crypt after crashing through a wall with a statue. Indy pushes a
massive stone block out of the outside wall - and you can see from the block's
shadow that when it hits the ground, it bounces!
-Note the tell-tale reflection of the glass pane that keeps Harrison Ford
safe during his tete-a-tete with the cobra.
-Indy goes to Marion's bar to get the medallion. She tells him to get
lost. After he leaves she sits down and pulls the medallion, which she is
wearing on a chain around he neck, out of her blouse. Straight-on shot of
Meriam looking at the medallion with the chain still around her neck. Cut
to a profile shot where she is still looking at the medallion and the chain
is no longer around her neck.
-When the truck explodes, you can see the pole shooting out of the bottom
of it to make it tip over as if the explosion was real.
-When Indy finds Marion in the tent after he thinks she is dead, he unties
the gag in her mouth. He then ties it back catching a lot of her hair in
it. The camera changes, and there is no more hair caught in the gag.
-When they go to see the old man about the writing on the medalion,
he tells them that the staff should be 6 kadams to which Indy states
that is about 72 inches. Then the old man says to remove 1 kadam.
Simple math dictates that the staff should be 60 inches or 5 feet tall.
When Indy is later in the map room, he inserts the staff into the
hole and the mounted medalion is over his head. I don't think Harrison
Ford is less than 5 feet tall. (Editor's note: This is true. People have
written to me saying that he could be on the steps when he puts the staff
into the hole. Actually in the letterboxed version of the film, you see his
feet on the platform when he sicks the staff in the hole proving that this
is indeed a goof)
-When Indiana leaps aboard the German submarine on its way to the
island to open the Ark, he is on the outside. Then the Uboat captain
shouts "tauchen, tauchen" meaning "dive, dive"! (Editor's note: In the
original script, the submarine made it all the way to the island with its
periscope up which is how Indy made it there)
Quotes:
Jock: C'mon, show a little backbone, will ya?
Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr: It's not the years honey, it's the mileage.
[Army Intelligence officer describing Indiana Jones]
Officer: Professor of Archeology, expert on the occult, and how does one
say it? Obtainer of rare antiquities.
Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr: You want to talk to God? Let's go see him
together, I've got nothing better to do!
Rene Belloq: You and I are very much alike. Archeology is our religion,
yet we have both fallen from the pure faith. Our methods have not
differed as much as you pretend. I am but a shadowy reflection of you.
It would take only a nudge to make you like me. To push you out of the
light.
Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr: Now you're getting nasty.
Sallah: Indy, why does the floor move?
Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr: Snakes ... why did it hafta be snakes?
Sallah: Asps ... very dangerous. You go first.
Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr: This site also demonstrates one of the great dangers
of archeology, not to life and limb, although that does sometimes take place,
I'm talking about folklore.

Trivia:
- The working title was ``3000''. A early version of the script had [Julia
Roberts] addicted to cocaine; part of the deal was that she had to stay off
it for a week. She needed to money to go to Disneyland. [Richard Gere]
eventually throws her out of his car and drives off. The movie was scripted
to end with [Roberts] and her prostitute friend on the bus to Disneyland.
- Julia Roberts had a body double for the intimate shots.
- Julia Roberts' head was superimposed on her body double for the poster.
Richard Gere's hair is brown on the poster, but greying in the movie.
- CAMEO(Larry Miller): head salesman at a clothing store.
Goofs:
-On the movie poster, Gere's hair is brown. In the movie it's grey.
-It's not Julia Roberts' body on the movie poster.
-While they are having breakfast - watch the donut/roll/pancake Julia Roberts
is eating - it keeps switching -very bad editing!
-In the scene where Gere and Roberts are dining with Ralph Bellamy,
the meals they have in front of them (esp. the sorbets) chop 'n change.
-Julia Roberts starts undressing Richard Gere, Gere's tie and collar and zipper
go from being untied and unbuttoned to being tied and buttoned, then
back again, all in a matter of seconds (but not the zipper).
-Also, Julia takes off his shoes and socks. A few seconds later they
are magically back on his feet again.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Summary:
Nearly 10 years have passed since Sarah Connor was targeted for
termination by a cyborg from the future. Now her son, John, the
future leader of the resistance, is the target for a newer, more deadly
terminator. Once again, the resistance has managed to send a protector
back to attempt to save John and his mother Sarah.
Summary by:
Colin Tinto
Summary:
Sequel to Terminator. Skynet, the 21st century computer waging a losing
war on humans sends a second terminator back in time to destroy the leader
of the human resistance while he is still a boy. His mother is the only
one who knows of the existence of the Terminators, human-like robots that
exist only to kill and are nearly indestructible, and Sarah, the boy's
mother is currently in a state mental hospital because of her 'delusions'.
A second protector is sent back to the past by the Human resistance to
protect John Connor, their future leader, at all costs.

Trivia:
- Sarah Connor was to have a dream where Reese appears and tells her that she
has to save him. He disappears, replaced with a T-800 who walks with her to
the door that leads to a playground where kids are killed by the nuclear
holocaust. This was cut because it's similar to her dream sequence at the
ranch. Scene with Reese was used in the previews.
- Scenes in the screenplay but not filmed:
- Extended Future War sequence where the resistance won and enter
a SkyNet lab where they find the time-portal and a storage
facilities of Arnolds. You also see Reese talking to John.
- Sarah's ECT where Sarah is fitted for electro-convulsive thearpy
and voltage is pumped into her.
- Missile dream sequence. Takes place before the dream at the
ranch. First she dreams of kids playing, then the ground
shakes, a lid raises from the ground, and missiles launch
while the bodies of kids explodes into bones and tissues
from the rocket engines.
- Salceda's death sequence. Sal's dog starts barking, Sal goes
out tries to shoot the T-1000 and fails. T-1000 uses the
pointed finger/sword trick to Sal's shoulder blades saying
``I know this hurts. Where is John Connor''. Sal curses him
and his hands searchs around the ground near some crates
that held grenades. He kills himself and hopefully the T-1000
with one. No luck. T-1000 head falls off but like the little
piece in the asylum escape sequence, it oozes back into his
boots. Yolanda sees this and hugs the baby as T-1000 steps
closer. T-1000 picks up the baby and gets the info from
her as where John and others had gone.
- Gant Ranch. This section was a longer version of Sal's and
refers to Travis Gant, ``crazy ex-Green Beret'' that John
mentions his mother seeing before she was caught. Longer
and has romantic notions between the two. After Sarah, John
& the T-800 left, T-1000 kills Gant as he did like with John's
``Mom''. Disguised as Gant's lover, he easily stepped up to him
and tortured him for answers before killing him.
- Dyson's Vision Sequence. Dyson, the creator of the new processor
had a dream sequence before he died and dropped the device on the
trigger. In it he saw a picture of his family before a nuclear
explosion turned it to ash. He sees his family running and then
a scene of the sun as it pulls back to reveal Dyson's dying eye
before he closes it and drops the book.
- A promotional trailer for the film included a scene not in the film: the
T800 being constructed.
- The T800's ``point-of-view'' scenes at the biker's bar identify a Harley
Davidson ``Fatboy'', and a carcinogen in the cigar smoke.
- The T800 carries a gun in a box of roses. Some of the soundtrack was written
by ``Guns 'n Roses''.
- The T800's bike jump into the stormwater drain was performed by a stuntman
Peter Kent. The motorbike was supported by 1-inch cables, so that when they
hit the ground, the bike and rider only weighted 180 pounds. The cables were
later digitally erased.
- More explicit shots of the arm cutting scene were removed.
- SFX crew had to incorporate Robert Patrick's football-injury limp in their
animation of the T1000.
- The morphing software and digital images required 150 gigabytes of storage.
- For the truck scene, they modified a normal truck to hide the usual steering
wheel, and added a cosmetic steering wheel on the right side. In addition,
the truck had a mirror-image license plate and other necessary stuff.
Next, they filmed the stuff with the T1000 pretending to be driving from
the right-hand steering wheel (wearing a mirror-image police uniform),
while the real driver was hidden under a black hood at the lowered real
steering wheel. For the final film, the scenes were flipped left-to-right
to make it all look right, and combined with footage shot with a normal
truck driving in the drain. This was done so that actor Robert Patrick could
concentrate on acting rather than driving. They accidentally caught a street
sign; after they mirror-imaged the scene, they digitally reversed the text on
the sign so it would appear correct.
- After throwing the T800 through the shopping center window, the T1000 glances
at a mannequin that is entirely covered with chrome. Reminiscent of Reese
shooting the T800 in the Tech Noir bar in _The Terminator_.
- The T1000 tells the helicopter pilot to ``Get out!''. This is an interesting
parallel to _The Terminator_, in which the T800 gives the same command to
a truck driver under similar circumstances.
- The T800 loses its left arm, and hauls itself forward with its right. The
same thing happened to the T800 in _The Terminator_.
- The T1000 has at least three hands when it is flying the helicopter.
- Linda Hamilton's twin Leslie played the T1000 when it was imitating Sarah
Connor.
- Identical twins Don and Dan Stratton played the hospital security guard and
the T1000.
- The T-800 says ``I need a vacation'', which Arnold Schwarzenegger previously
said in _Kindergarten Cop_. This was not in the script, but ad-libbed.
- Schwarzenegger said during the making of this film that he would never play
another evil character again.
- A ``T800'' is a parallel CPU usually found running OCCAM.
- ACTTRADE(Arnold Schwarzenegger): ``I'll be back!''
- DIRTRADE(James Cameron): [nice cut]: during the opening credits: the cut
from the playing children to the dark future.
- DIRTRADE(James Cameron): [feet]: the terminator in the future crushes a
skull with its foot.
- DIRTRADE(James Cameron): [feet]: When the T800 and the T1000 meet for the
first time, the T800 takes the gun out of the flower box and walks over
the roses.
- DIRTRADE(James Cameron): [feet]: When Sarah, John and the T800 are chased
by the T1000 through the psychiatric clinic, the T1000 walks over the
sunglasses that the T800 was wearing before.
Goofs:
-In the beginning of the Bike Chase scene: When Arnie turns out from the
garage and into the street, he gets followed by a red car which in turn
crashes into another car as a result of Arnie's hazardous left turn. The
red car is already wrecked BEFORE the collision.
-When the T-1000 flies the tow truck into the gulley, the windows pop
out as it hits the ground. Next scene: they're still in place.
-The Bike Chase: Sparks emerge from the truck BEFORE it scratches the wall.
-At the car park where Arnie and John have their little tete-a-tete, the
automatic pistol is cocked and uncocked alternatively.
-Sarah's Escape: When she knocks down the guard (or what ever) he bleeds
on the floor. Next time we see the floor, the blood's gone.
-When John tries to ease Sarah down because she nearly killed Dyson, his
watch shows different hours from 10:35 to 12.
-When Arnie takes the teargas gun it is half empty. When he steps outside to
fire it, magically it's full again.
-On their escape from Cyberdyne, the SWAT truck has its right backdoor open.
But all subsequent shots of the truck show its left back door open.
-The Truck Chase: When the SWAT truck tilts over on the bridge, its front
window is thrown out and smashed. When we see the N2-truck pass by, the
front window is almost intact and back in place.
-When Arnie is thrown from the Cryoco truck, you can CLEARLY see the matte.
-When a mental-hospital guard gets a cup of coffee from a vending
machine he looks at the playing cards illustrated on the cup. There
are two jacks and two aces on the outside of the cup. Seeing a queen
on the bottom of the cup the guard says, "Full House." However,
a Full House requires two of one kind and three of another.
-In the scene when Arnie has told to "Get off before I drop you." He walks
towards the proprietor of the bar. As he walks up the stairs towards the
man after snatching the gun he takes one hand off the gun. When they pan
out his hand is holding the gun again.
-The T1000 fires his rounds into Arnie's back (we even hear them
clank on his hyperalloy endoskeleton). Then they grapple while John
gets away. When the T1000 throws Arnie thru the storefront window,
the holes are gone, only to reappear later on. The scene was edited
into a different sequence that that which was intended when the shots
were filmed (so sez director James Cameron).
-In the steel mill -- notice that the vat of molten steel isn't
evenly illuminated. You can clearly see that it is made of sections
of translucent plastic sheets, darker on the edges and corners,
brighter in the centers.
-In the bar fight, one of the bikers stabs Arnie with what is clearly
a rubber knife.
Quotes:
The Terminator: I need your clothes, boots and your motorcycle!
The Victim: You forgot to say please...
The Terminator: I'll be back!
Psychiatrist: I'm sure it feels very real to you.
Sarah Connor: On August 29th 1997 it's gonna feel pretty fucking real
to you too. Anybody not wearing 2 million sun-block is gonna have a
real bad day... Get it?
Lewis: Hey, I got a full house!
Gwen: That's good Lewis.
Lewis: Must be my lucky day...
The Terminator: Come with me if you want to live!
[Sarah, looking at the terminator]
Sarah: So, what's your story?
The Terminator: Stay here, I'll be back!

Jes' nezgodno. Ne mogu da uzmu nekog mladog jer je Bond karakter u
svojim poznim tridesetim, a ovi stariji su već "prerasli" Bonda. Možda
Jason Connery ali tek za jedno desetak godina. Ni onaj Julian Sands

Aliens (1986)
Summary:
The sequel to Alien is a non-stop, high-tech, war movie, with Space Marines.
Ripley is found in deep space by a salvage ship, 57 years after narrowly
escaping with her life - and her cat - at the end of Alien. She then
discovers The Company have colonised the planet where the alien was first
encountered. When contact with the colony is lost, The Company send a
team of Space Marines, with Ripley as an "advisor", to find out what has
happened.

Trivia:
- A draft of the script had Gorman being paralyzed by a stinger on the tail
of an alien, rather than being clobbered by falling equipment.
- The ``special edition'' includes extra scenes: Newt's parents discovering
abandoned alien ship on LV-426, scenes of Ripley discussing her daughter,
Hudson bragging about his weaponry, robot sentry guns repelling first alien
raid, Hicks and Ripley exchanging first names.
- The mechanism used to make the facehuggers thrash about in the stasis tubes
in the science lab came from one of the ``flying piranahs'' in one of
director James Cameron's earlier movies _Piranah II - The Spawning_. It
took 9 people to make the face hugger work, one person for each leg and
someone for the tail.
- The APC was modeled after an airplane tug.
- ``Sulaco'' is the name of the town in Joseph Conrad's ``Nostromo''. See also
_Alien_.
- Hicks was originally played by actor James Remar, but Michael Biehn
replaced him a few days after principal photography began, due to ``artistic
differences'' between Remar and Cameron.
- ``She thought they said `illegal aliens' and signed up...'' said Hudson.
This line (directed towards Vasquez) was in inside joke amongst the actors.
Jeanette Goldstein (who played Vasquez) had gone to the audition thinking
the film would be about illegal immigrants. She arrived with waist-long
hair and lots of makeup. Everyone else was wearing military fatigues.
- The ``special edition'' includes the sound of a face-hugger scurrying from
left to right as the final credits fade.
- DIRTRADE(James Cameron): [nice cut]: a few minutes into the movie, we see
Ripley lying in the cryo-tube, and then the scene fades to the picture of
the earth; the earth directly fits into the silhouette of Ripley's face.
- DIRTRADE(James Cameron): [feet]: When the soldiers arrive on LV426 and
jump out of the armored vehicle. See also _The Abyss_.
- DIRTRADE(James Cameron): [feet]: When Ripley drives the APC, she crushes an
alien's head under one of the wheels.
- DIRTRADE(James Cameron): [feet]: close-ups of the power-lifter's feet.
Crazy Credits:
- The laserdisc version includes the sound of a face-hugger scurrying from
left to right as the final credits fade.
Goofs:
-In the battle scene between Ripley and the mother alien where Ripley is in
the loader, we see the alien pull the loader into the airlock when Ripley
tries to drop it. The loader is turned upside down and the cone on top with
the spinning yellow caution light is broken when it slams into the floor. In
the next scene, however, we see the loader lying on the floor of the airlock
with the yellow cone still in one piece. Also, the sharp end of the alien
tails seems to be missing, as if it broke off, but the broken part isn't on
the airlock floor.
-When Bishop gets it from the mother alien, you can see the string
pulling the stinger through the dummy.
Quotes:
Private Hudson: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?
Private Vasquez: No, have you?
[When they are dropped over LV-426]
Private Hudson: We're on the express elevator to hell - going down.
Bishop: I may be synthetic, but I'm not stupid.
[Lieutenant Gorman orders the troops to disarm all their weapons before the
first alien encounter]
Private Frost: What the hell are we supposed to use man, harsh language?
[The drop-ship crashes]
Private Hudson: Well that's great, that's just fuckin' great man, now what the
fuck are we supposed to do? We're in some real pretty shit now man...
That's it man, game over man, game over! What the fuck are we gonna do now?
What are we gonna do?
Private Hudson: Dear Lord Jesus, this can't be happenin' man, this isn't
happenin...
Bishop: I'm afraid I have some bad news.
Private Hudson: Well that's a switch.

Trivia:
- Begins with a shot of a mountain on a gong which is reminiscent of the
Paramount Pictures logo. See also (_Raiders of the Lost Ark_, and
_Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade_)
- Short Round was named after screenwriter Willard Huyck's dog, which was named
after the orphan in _The Steel Helmet_.
- The club at the beginning is called ``Club Obi Wan'', a reference to a
_Star Wars_ character.
- Shots of mining-car roller-coaster ride done with models and a 35mm camera
modified to hold extra film.
- Rehash of the ``shooting the swordsman'' joke from _Raiders of the Lost Ark_.
- Suspension bridge only shown from one side, to avoid showing the Grand Coulee
Dam.
- Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg are married.
- CAMEO(Dan Aykroyd): meets Indiana at the airport at the beginning.
- CAMEO(Frank Marshall [producer]): a tourist in the background in the
airport scene at the beginning.
- DIRCAMEO(Steven Spielberg): a tourist in the background in the airport scene

Goofs:
-In the long shots of Indy on the rope bridge when he has thugees on either
side of him, the thugees are much further from him than in the close up
shots. Note that this is not a deceptive camera angle, it is quite clearly
the case.
-When the rope bridge is cut and Indy is climbing up, the stuntman is far
thinner than Harrison Ford.
-In the finale when the kids are returning to their mothers, one kid is
boosted up to his mother. You can see the assistant's white hands for a
second helping the kid up to the mother.

Trivia:
- Begins with a shot of a rock in Utah which is reminiscent of the Paramount

_Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom_)
- Shows origin of Jones' fear of snakes in _Raiders of the Lost Ark_.
- Harrison Ford cut his chin in a car accident in Northern California when he
was about 20. In the movie, this cut is explained by young Indiana Jones
cutting his chin with a whip. See also: _Working Girl_.
- When making _Star Wars_, George Lucas owned a dog named ``Indiana''.
- The dog barking when young Indy passes with the cross in his hand is an
Alaskan Malmute, the same type of dog the Lucas's owned in the late 1970s.
- Walter Donovan was played by Julian Glover, and Donovan's wife was played by
Glover's wife.
- DIRTRADE(Steven Spielberg): [music]
Goofs:
-(In the scene at the beginning) Indy is swinging off the Coronado via
a hook on a line. He distinctly has the Cross of Coronado in his left hand
in the previous scene. When he grabs onto the hook, the cross disappears,
and when he lands in the water, it's in his left hand again.
-At the beginning of the movie, just before young Indy escapes into the train's
caboose, the train is seen going through a mountainous area with forests. He
disappears through the box in the floor, and when the guy with the hat looks
out the back door of the caboose, there are no more mountains ... the terrain
is flat like the place where Indy boarded the train in the first place!
-The first shot of the adult Indy as he raises his head shows blood trickling
down his chin from one side of his mouth. In the next and subsequent shots,
the blood is dripping from the other side.
-In trying to find his father. Indiana Jones goes thru his father's mail.
A close up of the letters shows one with a stamp not issued by the U.S.
Post Office until after the time frame of the movie.
-After being chased by the Germans, Indy and his father come to a sign that
is posted by a fork in the road. One road goes to Berlin, the other
to Venice. This sign is unlikely, because Venice and Berlin are roughly
400 miles apart.
-In the sequence in which Indy's clambering about on the outside of the tank,
it's impossible for him to have gotten hung up on the gun barrel the way he
does -- the end of the barrel's already been blown apart, causing it to
blossom like a metal flower which is too large for Indy to have passed that
loop of equipment strap over even if he'd wanted to.
-After the tank goes over the cliff, the turret of the tank falls off and away
as the tank hits the ground. However, when Connery and the rest look over the
edge at the tank, the turret is in place on the top of the tank.
-As the camera angles change on Sean Connery right after the Hatayan tank
falls from the cliff, you can see marked differences in the way Connery's
beard is trimmed.
-While spelling out the word of God, Indy steps on a letter, accidentally
breaking the letter behind his foot. In the next shot, the letter is intact.
-The letter he stepped on was a J, which was wrong because Jehovah is spelled
Iehovah in Latin. But the reason for the spelling difference is that Latin
*has* no letter J. So there shouldn't have been a J tile in the first place.
(It might conceivably have been an ornate T, but doesn't look much like one.)
-Hitler writes his name with the wrong hand when he autographs the diary.

Title:
Blade Runner (1982)
Summary:
Deckard is a Blade Runner, a police man of the future who hunts down
and terminates replicants, artificially created humans. He wants to get
out of the force, but is drawn back in when 5 "skin jobs", a slang term
for replicants, hijack a ship back to Earth. The city that Deckard
must search for his prey is a huge, sprawling, bleak vision of the future.
This film questions what it is to be human, and why life is so precious.

Goofs:
-When we first see Roy Batty, he's in a phone box. There's someone's hand on
his shoulder even though he's clearly the only person in the phone box.
(Bob N. sez: "That's Tyrell's hand. The shot is from them sitting on
his bed near the end of the film, reversed left to right".)
-In the very first shot of Batty, we see his hand clenching up. If you look
carefully as he turns his hand just before the shot changes, you can see
the nail sticking through the back of his hand. He doesn't actually insert
that nail until about an hour later in the film.
-When Leon throws Deckard into the car window -- the window was already
broken before Deckard hit it. Not necessarily a goof, but could be.
-Yet another `spot the stuntman'. When Zhora goes crashing through those
plate-glass windows, the stunt double looks NOTHING like the actress.
While the actress has wavy reddish hair, the stunt double has this very
curly dark hair. Oops!
-For the scene of the skimmer taking off, the support cables are quite
visible.
-In the Deckard/Batty confrontation, after Deckard has been given
his gun back, and stalk off, you can see (in letterboxed versions) the
shadow of the camera man and camera on the wall.
Quotes:
Deckard: Sushi. That's what my ex-wife calls me - Cold fish.
Chinese restaurant owner: He say you are blade runner.
Deckard: Tell him I'm eating.
Deckard: I have had people walkout on me before, but not when I was being so
charming.
Batty: Chew, if only you could see what I've seen with your eyes!
Tyrell: The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long - and you
have burned so very, very brightly, Roy.
Batty: I've seen things you wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off
the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the
Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in
rain. Time to die.
Leon: Wake up! Time to die!
[J.F. Sebastian, the genetic designer]
Sebastian: I MAKE friends.
Gaff: It's too bad she won't live! But then again, who does?
