Full Mouse Support
Pop-up Help by pressing F1
Extended Edit Window.
The edit window shows the entire description. You can edit a larger
description than maximum length. This feature is useful when you have
copied text from the file viewer. When the description is too long, the
displayed character count will change color. Excess characters will not
be written to the description file.
However, the Editor is not always active, as it was in previous
versions. To enter the editor, you have several options:
1. Position the Highlight bar on the desired line and press F4
or the right arrow key.
2. Move the mouse cursor to the description area of the desired
line and press the left mouse button twice (double click).
Change directories from within 4EDIT
Position highlight bar on a directory line and press F2 or position the
mouse to he desired line and double click on the left half of the
screen.
Configurable maximum description length.
The allowable range is 20 to 200 characters.
File Viewer
Files can be viewed from within 4EDIT by pressing F3 or by positioning
the mouse to the desired line and double clicking or pressing the left
arrow key. Text from the file can be copied and pasted into any file
description.
Support for batch files
4Edit will now accept input from a file containing an ASCII list of
files to be edited, created in an editor or by another program.
Description Attributes
4EDIT will now leave the description file unhidden if it finds it
that way.
Colorized Directory
Three groups of file types can be displayed in distinctive colors in the
4EDIT directory display.
Columnar Descriptions
4DOS makes it difficult to create multiline descriptions other than
simple wordwrapped text in two ways. The description cannot contain a
carriage return or a line feed. Furthermore, if you pad the description
with spaces or tabs, 4DOS will do its best to word wrap anyway.
To get around these constraints, 4EDIT offers two features, a "hard"
space (use the shifted space key), at which 4DOS will not word wrap,
and a simulated carriage return (use Shift-Enter). With these two
tools, you can get the layout that you want.

sam zamrsio. Recimo kako bih uradio ovo:

Dakle, treba nekoj promenjljivoj da dodelim datum? Kako to da
